Checked out this place at lunch time hidden away from all the road works. However, this place did not disappoint our dining experience. Tried their Malai Kofta and it was good and flavourful. Will definitely visit this place again to try the other dishes from the menu.
Always guaranteed great service and food. They have an awesome range of food and accomodate for large groups. Recommend this restaurant to all.
Had a very delicious butter chicken here tonight. I got medium spice and it was just right. The restaurant was very warm and inviting and overall a great place to dine. Would really recommend to dine here or get take away! Also good pricing :)
Excellent Indian food.. I took bhuna chicken, dal tasks and kadhai paneer ... All the dishes were very good. Had some good Indian food after e very long time in Wellington. . This indeed is one of the better Indian restaurants.. highly recommend this if you want to have some genuine Indian curry taste... The food was hot and fresh.
This is one of my favorite restaurants by far! I love their customer service to exceptional food. Everything they serve is to a high standard for me and ticks all the boxes. I always order the same either butter chicken or mango chicken and it's always delicious and cooked how I like it. The chicken is cooked to perfection nice and and tender and the sauce is just immaculate 👌. The rice is always lovely and fluffy and the garlic Naan just goes so well with it. Definitely recommend.😊
Best curry in porirua! Butter chicken and chicken chattinad (sp?) which is an amazing authentic tasting curry with potato and spices in it are my fav with a mango lassi! Takeaway or dine in lovely can't wait to go back!
In my opinion the best curry in Porirua. The curry is always good. The butter chicken and Garlic Chilly Chicken are my favorites. We always try new curry as it is always good with lots of spice. When we dine in we always order extra rice as the rice portions are quite small.
I am a regular customer in the Curry Village. For the past months I was been happy with going back to the restaurant to enjoy my butter chicken. The food is awesome there, the restaurant is great but my little complaint is the grumpy faces of the staff. I really love an Indian lady who used to come and talk to me every time whenever i go to the restaurant, she flies like a butterfly, smiles to every one and try to reach every one who needs a hand. I asked the guy staff about her on Thursday when I dine in and he said she is not working anymore. Not sure what had happened to her but come back to Curry village we miss you.Other than that Curry Village is the best if you are looking for the yummiest curry in Town.
My all time favorite restaurant! I could eat here every day! The food is always amazing, and the service is good! Worth every cent! The only thing is i went in with my partner, and we got seated at a wall side table. We were seated so close to another table, that we may as well have been apart of that table. But, other than that everything else there is amazing!
By far the best curry in the Wellington region. I eat there regularly and always feel completely satisfied.
The portions are really big, one meal could easily feed two people.
The flavour is amazing. I'm going to keep eating here until I find a place that can match taste.
