Went for the set menu with was both super fresh, delightful to the eye, plenty and yummy but we ended up ordering seconds just to enjoy all the goodness a little more.

Arigato gozaimasu to all Tatsumi staff last Saturday night! It was a wonderful experience and food tastes great! We especially loved the seared wagyu beef! The braised beef cheeks were super tender! Karaage chicken were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Cooked to perfection! Hope to come
It was a lovely experience. The staff were very polite. The food was well presented and delicious.
For me, a little more explanation about the food and wine would have bumped it up a star (beyond stating the obvious such as reading aloud the label on the bottle).

The best restaurant I've tried in New Zealand, at a surprisingly affordable price. Impeccable service. We tried the QUEEN OMAKASE Sharing Plates and it was amazing. They were able to accommodate gluten-free dietary requests. We will be back!
