We recently had the pleasure of dining at The Observatory Restaurant in Queenstown, and it was an experience that left a lasting impression. We started our meal with the high country Lamb shoulder, and it was an absolute showstopper. The portion was incredibly generous, easily satisfying a group of four. The tender lamb paired perfectly with the accompanying potatoes, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. The medium rare beef was cooked to perfection, showcasing the chef's expertise in handling quality cuts of meat. The coleslaw provided a refreshing crunch, complementing the richness of the beef. Additionally, the roasted seasonal veggies added a delightful burst of color and freshness to the plate. One cannot overlook the breathtaking view that The Observatory Restaurant offers. However, it's important to note that the restaurant does not provide parking facilities, requiring guests to find street parking nearby. Despite this small inconvenience, the awe-inspiring view makes it all worthwhile. To end our meal on a sweet note, we indulged in the classic crème brûlée. The caramelized sugar topping cracked perfectly, revealing a creamy and luscious custard underneath. It was the ideal finale to a remarkable culinary journey. The Observatory Restaurant truly delivers an exceptional dining experience. From the ample portion sizes of the lamb shoulder to the mouthwatering beef and delightful side dishes, each component of the meal was executed with precision and care. The lack of parking is a minor inconvenience in comparison to the panoramic views that accompany your meal. I highly recommend The Observatory Restaurant for those seeking not only delicious food but also an unforgettable dining experience amidst Queenstown's stunning scenery.

We had the bruschetta and lamb shoulder and it was fantastic. The service was also great. Will be back!

Excellent service by the waitress! She even initiate to serve our soup into individual portion!! Great steaks and ice-cream sorbet!

The BEST meal we had in Queenstown. The love these lady chefs put on the plate was incredible. The Confit Pork Belly was sensational, as was the Deconstructed Pear Crumble. Thank you for making our last night special!!
