Happened upon this spot as we were walking around QT looking for some dinner seen a board offering a $25 steak meal deal and a range of craft beers so thought would give it a chance. 3 of us tried the steak, chips and salad meal for $25 was good value and tasty enough. Good selection of beers tried a nice sour ale that hadn't tasted before. Definitely give this place a shot some fairly priced food options considering normal QT prices. Friendly service and laid back atmosphere.

Great bar with loads of craft beers on tap that regularly change. Also great service, warm and friendly staff, and always helpful when trying to choose a drink. They have a great selection of local brews as well, which is great to see. Looking forward to my next trip back to Queenstown, to come back here! Also dog-friendly too. Warm fire going and lovely atmosphere, with good food options too. Also has a pub quiz night, love a good quiz!

Tuesday is always a bit tricky in Queenstown, staff still in short supply but you wouldn't know it from the great service we got last night from Beech Tree. We arrived just prior to kitchen closure at 9:30pm and within 20min we were eating great food. The ribs were excellent, tasty and crisp accompanied by onion rings and chips, fantastic! The plate for 2 with spicy chicken wings and ribs also excellent. Finally wife raved about her burger. Last but not the least, 23 craft beers on tap. Highly recommend this joint.

Ordered the ribs & wings to share and both were absolutely gorgeous.
I've only had them authentically with a US expat once (Others were imitations) but their Buffalo chicken has the real taste of America, Frank's, & Freedom in it.
Would return even if the only thing on the menu was buffalo wings 😌👌
They also have a dog friendly drink and snack available. Very cute

Omg this place is to die for a must for any Queenstown trip. We had the rib, wing, chips and slaw platter for 2 for $42 and it was 10/10. 30 custom beers on tap so we had a tasting paddle. 😍😛😛

Would've been a five star as this is a craft beer hot spot, but the guy behind the bar let this place down for being completely disinterested in my existence as a customer. He chatted and laughed with his mates on the other side of the bar the whole time (he even counted the till in plain sight of them), which felt very alienating, and was googling pointless rubbish on his phone while I was ordering a beer. He seemed to get the job done, as he was attentively cleaning the tables around us, but seemed totally ambivalent to customers.
It's a fantastic bar let down by its staff, sadly.

Cool pub, great drink choices and their quiz night was really fun. Ribs were nice and the wings were just okay. We had paltters and 2 flavors of wings were so hit, no one in our group could eat them. Service was extremely good and overall was a great time at a great place.

Fantastic choice of beer and wings. Nice and friendly stuff. The food was delicious. If you love craft beer, they have a beer tasting panel with 4 different beers of choice.

Great atmosphere and dog friendly. The upstairs beer garden is easy to locate and inviting with a large selection of beers on tap. I ordered a plate of sauced wings in addition to a pint of Chris NZ Hazy IPA. The buffalo wings were adequately sauced with the right amount of flavour

We ordered an assortment of the wings, both sauced and dry.
The dry were by far my favourites.
Salt & Vinegar wings were juicy and soft, the spice didn't overpower the chicken, and dipping them in the house aioli was a perfect combination.
Jamaican Jerk wings had that perfect little kick of spice. The spices made a crisp outside to the chicken and kept the juice on the inside.
Although my party did not order any beer, we can all agree that the wings would work great with the staff recommendations we overheard in the background.
Staff were friendly and fun!
The atmosphere was great as well, klanking of glasses, people laughing and having a great time, and lighting that were easy on the eyes, making it an amazing place for friends to meet up.

Been here twice now when we’ve visited Queenstown and both times have had great food and beer. Cool space, and unfortunately missed out on the quiz night and live music both times! Chicken wings are great and definitely recommend trying a few flavours.

I always come here with friends to play games, drink and eat. This place has a great vibe anytime during the day. They’ve got a couple vegan options too which is great! Also a great spot to meet all the local dogs as you can bring them into the bar.
