Hidden away off the main area, this place is a gem! One of my fav places in Queenstown. Food pricing was reasonable and lots of beers to choose from
Happened upon this spot as we were walking around QT looking for some dinner seen a board offering a $25 steak meal deal and a range of craft beers so thought would give it a chance. 3 of us tried the steak, chips and salad meal for $25 was good value and tasty enough. Good selection of beers tried a nice sour ale that hadn't tasted before. Definitely give this place a shot some fairly priced food options considering normal QT prices. Friendly service and laid back atmosphere.
Great bar with loads of craft beers on tap that regularly change. Also great service, warm and friendly staff, and always helpful when trying to choose a drink. They have a great selection of local brews as well, which is great to see. Looking forward to my next trip back to Queenstown, to come back here! Also dog-friendly too. Warm fire going and lovely atmosphere, with good food options too. Also has a pub quiz night, love a good quiz!
Our first stop in Queenstown and was a great place to get into the local vibe. Great range of beers from the region and good value food options. Enjoyed the Ladies of Dogtown Hazy Pale Ale.
Tuesday is always a bit tricky in Queenstown, staff still in short supply but you wouldn't know it from the great service we got last night from Beech Tree. We arrived just prior to kitchen closure at 9:30pm and within 20min we were eating great food. The ribs were excellent, tasty and crisp accompanied by onion rings and chips, fantastic! The plate for 2 with spicy chicken wings and ribs also excellent. Finally wife raved about her burger. Last but not the least, 23 craft beers on tap. Highly recommend this joint.

Ordered the ribs & wings to share and both were absolutely gorgeous.
I've only had them authentically with a US expat once (Others were imitations) but their Buffalo chicken has the real taste of America, Frank's, & Freedom in it.
Would return even if the only thing on the menu was buffalo wings 😌👌
They also have a dog friendly drink and snack available. Very cute
Omg this place is to die for a must for any Queenstown trip. We had the rib, wing, chips and slaw platter for 2 for $42 and it was 10/10. 30 custom beers on tap so we had a tasting paddle. 😍😛😛
Would've been a five star as this is a craft beer hot spot, but the guy behind the bar let this place down for being completely disinterested in my existence as a customer. He chatted and laughed with his mates on the other side of the bar the whole time (he even counted the till in plain sight of them), which felt very alienating, and was googling pointless rubbish on his phone while I was ordering a beer. He seemed to get the job done, as he was attentively cleaning the tables around us, but seemed totally ambivalent to customers.
It's a fantastic bar let down by its staff, sadly.
