Oh and the surroundings are beautiful too.

Absolutely loved this place!! Forget the powered sites…. Drive through to the non-powered sites and you will have found Nirvana! The most gorgeous setting in lush green surroundings with stunning trees, river and some great walks, catering for all fitness levels. Spacious clean kitchen with outdoor tables. Clean amenities. Highly recommend.
Good coffee and milkshake as well. Wheelchair people are welcome. Toilets are available near by. Plenty places to park the car if you are lucky to find the empty one( the place is very busy). Friendly staff and fast service. I recommend.
What a spot! The campground is immaculate and has really decent facilities. If you are camping with kids stay in the main grassed area not the sites by the river as there is a bit of a drop off and a ether fast flowing river. Hot showers, kitchen, bathroom, laundry and rubbish facilities. You can’t use your DOC Pass her sadly so it is a tad expensive but still worth it. Cafe is great too
Stayed on the powered site area and as for the non powered sites they have some of the most fantastic native bush you can see ,also some fab bush walks and a great café.
Cafe was excellent as always. Friendly service, nice location and fantastic food and coffee. Highly recommend!
Fantastic Doc campsite. We wish we had been able to spend more time here, only one night. Big kitchen with sinks, hobs and hob kettles provided, filtered water, free (and nice) showers, flush toilets and a great river to swim in. Take the time to go on the glowworm walk at night to the 1st waterfall. Well worth the trip but take a torch for the way there and the path has lots of tree roots.

The nonpowered campsites are the way to go, very nice spots just by the Pelarous river. Doc has done a great job with the service center but it could do with some cleaning of the showers, tons of flys in the lamps, wet floors and no scrape, no toilet brush, small things like that gets in the way of the five star rating. Please note that winter fishing is only allowed downstream of the conjunction with the Rai river. The girls running the cafe and the reception are great, and they make very good coffee!

I ordered the waffles, and it was awesome. Lots of carbs, fresh fruit and granola. Just what I needed for a long bike. Coffee and smoothie were excellent as well. Perfectly located Cafe, with great food and friendly staff. I recommended a stop in!
The camp ground is stunning, well facilitated and comfortable. This is a hidden gem!!
