Customer service was good. It's nice to have a different option for food in rakaia. The curries are delicious , however very mild. A wider range of spice options would be fantastic. The lunch deals are the perfect seving for a quick bite to eat and 2 of their large curries fed 5 of us for dinner. Definitely a must try if your driving through or have a craving for curry
I got the butter chicken curry with no meat and rice included in the lunch special nice seats across the road by railroad good stopping in for a hot meal while passing through Rakaia
Mango Lassi, this beverages that you order together when ordering food. If you want proper food I recommend Chicken Madras Mild.
Just had several dishes which were perfectly cooked and spiced. Having eaten some really amazing Indian food in Hong Kong I'll say both myself and my wife were really impressed with the food from Mr India... Butter Chicken was mellow and delicious, Chicken Tika Masala was hearty with a bit more spice, Chicken Jalfraisey was aromatic and right in between both in spice level. Everything we tried was uniquely spiced and cooked..
Really difficult to give this anything but 5stars because while everyone might not like Everything, there is enough variety that there's probably something on the menu you will like. Naan bread was also excellent, highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Food was absolutely delicious best curry I’ve had in the entire Sth Island ! Husband loved it so much we stopped in again for lunch on the way back through!

We had two dishes last night. Tikka Masada and prawn curry, 2 lots of antrees and the naans. Completely delicious and we will be back .... definatly. Highly recommend
