Fabulous meals, perfectly cooked and presented. There were 14 of us and we all had wonderful meals couldnt have ask for more. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, great beer and awesome staff. They have changed up the menu with some delicious share plate options. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. All wheelchair accessible. With parking right outside the door.

Had a beautiful meal. Amazing Pork Belly. Best I’ve had Staff very polite 3 of us all enjoyed our meals. Only downside hubby found chips overcooked and really small. Chunky chips would of been better

We've been here for drinks before, but never dinner. Last night was our first experience and, based on that, we will definitely be back! The service was outstanding, the food was amazing (and we were delighted to discover kids eat free on Mondays and Tuesdays too!) and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

We had an excellent meal there last night. My daughter ordered the scallops , She noted she was allergic to Raw carrots and oranges and happy to skip the salad that came with it, if this made it difficult. The waiter said we will make a new salad from scratch, is no problem. She said it was wonderful some places make a real issue I had the roast venison shanks which was gorgeous , the sauce was fab you. My husband had the Farmers platter, he could not eat it all, beautiful beef and yourshire puddings, pork belly bites were delish and sirloin steak and bacon. Definitely going back

Great food, really enjoyed the spicy food.

Awesome local pub where the owner knows you by name. The only downside was that the fish was a little oily, but we did visit early on in the day so I'm sure it would have been better once the kitchen was pumping. I'll definitely be back next time I'm back in Rangiora

Great beers and food

This restaurant consistently shows what quality and service is about. From the mouth watering food, to the atmosphere and let's not forget the service. Service is the one thing lost in the 'service' industry these days, but the staff at Monteith's will show you what traditional service is about. I can't recommend this place enough. Always a joy.

Beautiful potato gnocchi and the chocolate brownie was to die for food is always spot on and the staff are awesome

Sensational food, fabulous staff and beautiful clean premises. We left so full from our entree and mains that we got our dessert takeaway and it was packaged perfectly. Highly recommend.

We booked a table in advance for optimum rugby viewing and were not disappointed, staff were fab despite being super busy, food was great, rugby score shall not be discussed but of course no fault of monteiths 😜Very impressed with the pub in all and will definately be back.

We had a great meal at Montheiths. Especially good as Wednesday is $20 main night, what a bonus. Excellent meal and great staff

Used to love Monteith's menu but went there recently with a friend and we were very disappointed with the much abbreviated menu and our choice of the chicken dish chosen for the sauteed leeks and brussel sprouts we both love, were hardy visible! The hollandais sauce was miniscule and cold. The pecan pie was still great, be it with insufficient toffee sauce and again on the cool side The service was good as always but with so much competition now in Rangiora, now is not the time for Monteiths to offer less for our money.

Straight to the point found hair in my meal and then daughters meal.. got one free kids meal and a wine as compensation.. disgusted in response..

Enjoyed my husband's Seafood Chowder and was really happy with the way my steak was cooked. Had lots of laughs with the staff which made our night great. Will happily return.

Best pub in Rangiora! Great staff and a good selection of beers, and the Quiz nights on Tuesdays are legendary, beware the Thin Green Slime!

Great atmosphere with excellent customer service. 3 out 4 meals very good, we will return.

My wife and I and 8 other guests had been invited to dinner to celebrate 3 sisters birthday. We sat down at the table and our order was taken. 1 hour later i spoke to the waitress as our food had not been surved. The food then arrived 5 minutes later. One of our guests asked the waitress to take the meal back as the sea food was not cooked. This was then repeated two times. The manager of Monteiths was then called to explain the situation. His professional Management skills was none exsistant ,and no explanation given. I was astonished with his attitude. All I can say is Monteiths Rangiora have disappointed 3 sisters on there birthday.
