What's not to love about a place where you feel like you've come home ? We have been enjoying the weekend experience of Friday night set menu dinner, Saturday and Sunday brunches and afternoon teas ( with cabinet food for casual dinner on Saturday) for a good couple of years now. Departing back to Wellington on Sunday evening feels a bit depressing.
Trevor and Viv maintain a high standard of food delivery at an unbelievably reasonable cost with humour and chat thrown in for free.
Good wholesome tasty food, great coffee in quantity and the occasional glass of lovely wine...a combo not to be tampered with.
It's getting a bit crowded in that little cafe, folk are catching on !
Best café on Kapiti coast. Lovely food, good prices, eat in or outside and Viv, Trev and staff are very friendly and give great services. I go twice nearly each weekend, so I should know!
Have had several excellent cups of coffee at Cafe Rosetta and their cheese muffins always delicious. New owners are friendly and have done a lot to make this a great cafe in Raumati.
We visited Cafe Rosetta on Wellington Anniversary Weekend and enjoyed the experience. The Cafe is under new ownership, and they had only been open a week. The service was terrific, our coffees arriving promptly and were nice and rich - an Americano and a flat white. I had a yummy cheese scone, my partner Eggs Benedict, a half portion that was a special request, and was no problem. The owners were warm, friendly and very obliging. Thank you, we will be back, especially to check out the home-made pies!
On previous visits (during 2012) i had found the service at cafe Rosetta to be average and so i had not visited for a while. However we had brunch there over Queens birthday weekend and were pleasantly surprised. All four diners enjoyed their meals and all menu changes that had been requested were carried out. The waitress was very pleasant to deal with. I will be visiting this cafe again.
During a weekend at Raumati Beach with my girlfriends to celebrate my 50th, I arranged to take 16 of us to brunch at Cafe Rosetta on the Sunday. They couldn't have been more accommodating, doing everything they could to ensure that I (and my guests) enjoyed my day. The tables were all set up for us when we arrived, complete with vases of daffodils, they managed the orders for a large group well, keeping our wine glasses topped up too, and regularly checking in with me to ensure that all was going smoothly. The food is good, the coffee beans are now Supreme - I am difficult to impress, but I was impressed. Thank you Cafe Rosetta for making a special day even more special.

Found by chance the Rosetta Road Cafe. The owners were warm & welcoming.
Cooked a delicious breakfast at my request (a dish that was not even on the menu).
Fabulous muffins, great coffee, good food in a friendly atmosphere.

Went to Rosetta Cafe this weekend and I agree with Rebekah (24 Sept 2011) My husband & myself had mushrooms on bruschetta. (absolutely delicious) coffee lovely & hot. Would definitely recommend this cafe.
came down to the rosetta cafe, great staff they really go the extra mile to make a great dining experience. try the mushrooms bruscetta a taste sensation. Love the coffee hot, full flavor, just the way it should be. Making this our regular i would highly recommend you check it out!!!!!!!!!!
I Went to cafe Rosetta in the weekend, very friendly staff, had a great meal, coffee was excellent. It was a very inviting and friendly cafe, custard square was amazing. This cafe is in a great location, and I will be going back very soon. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone.
Absolutely loved it and the food and service was brilliant. The Mushroom meal and chicken waffles along with the coffee went down perfectly. A free dog treat was provided to my friends puppy which he really enjoyed 🐶. We will be back.
Was a bit disappointed by the Harry Potter hot chocolate special as it only had the gold fleck decoration. The description included more things like lightening bolts. Also it tasted mainly of sweet butterscotch.
Would be great if the power cord wasn't dangling between the doors to the courtyard area too.
We did like the panini and roast veg sausage rolls though.
Totally recommend the chicken waffles. Love the restaurant. Even though they are very busy we have never had to wait for a table. Oh, and the coffee is gooood 😊

Why have I not been here before? What an awesome spot for some kai, breakfast, or lunch. The kai cabinet was so tempting and mouthwatering. The menu was pretty impressive.
Loved everything about this place, its rustic look, excellent service, scrumptious kai, great kāwhe, and amazing smoothie.
Don't be like me, and just go past and not call in. You won't be disappointed
Such a fabulous little café with tonnes of character. Lovely service, great coffee and DANG the food is outta this world. VERY generous portions. I'll definitely be skipping breakfast before I order the chorizo tortilla for lunch next time. Hats off to these guys, they are doing great things.
Amazing breakfast this morning. I had the balsamic mushrooms which were perfectly complimented by the bread served with them. Coffee was a delicious dark roast, flavouful, and not bitter.
Worth the 30 minute drive up the coast.
Looks small from the outside but plenty of seating inside. So don’t be put off by first impression.
Excellent coffee and great variety of food available.
Noticed a toy box in the corner for those of you with children. Rare and unusual in cafes these days and nice to see. Keep the little ones happy while you try to relax 😗

I had my heart set on chicken waffles but when arriving around 9, discovered it was their lunch menu after (11am I think?).
Thankfully they were okay to make it and boy did it taste amazing. Devoured the whole thing. Surprisingly the syrup was already mixed in near the coleslaw type stuff but it really worked well. 10x better than mama browns in welly.
Had poached eggs on toast and the partner had the Rosetta breakfast. Absolutely delicious and a very reasonable price. Staff were very friendly, oh! And they serve Dark Horse coffee <3
