Came in with friends for lunch today. Saw the scones and was craving it right away. Ordered the date scone, bacon eggs benedict and the monte cristo. The date scone was the best one I've ever tried. It looked aesthetically pleasing as well. The dates were all in the middle, placed between two slabs of scone. Scone was the perfect texture. Egg benedict was partially runny. Some of the yolk was actually cooked inside. Monte cristo was delicious. Toast was crispy and perfect with the melted cheese.
Great food and lovely environment. I ordered the Orakei egg Benedict, and love the crispy potato! All my friends enjoyed our food, the date scone was delicious too. I definitely recommend and will try more foods next time!
It is a very busy cafe with warm service and good ambiance. It is favorite place for locals especially for elders. And it is also a good place for family meeting. I highly recommend egg benny with smoked pork.
Great little cafe in the garden centre! Nice little find with friendly staff, varied menu and good mojo coffee and food! Loved the simple classic feel good breakfast!
A hidden Auckland Gem, tucked away in the Kings Garden Centre in Orakei bay village it has a great modern vibe with a funky interior! The service is fast friendly and always with a smile! I have been here several times and always a great experience with delicious food! Everything on the menu sounds tantalising and tastes just as good!
I don’t usually write reviews, but our brunch/lunch on Monday was exceptional. Fantastic service, fabulous food, very generous portions and an awesome kids area. Looking forward to going back again.
This place has become our go to place, the food is amazing staff are great.. the manager is very kind and always makes sure you have everything you need.

Great place to come for coffee group meetings, it’s family friendly and also it’s a great place to catch up with friends over coffee and one of the yummy treats in the cabinet. 😊😊
This is one our favourite places in Auckland! The food is amazing and the area for the children makes a relaxing morning breakfast tor us. The ratings clearly do not give it justice due to the old owners.
The cafe has recently changed hands and it is amazing!!! The Dr Feel good is my favourite meal around at the moment. The manager is the nicest guy and the staff are all really lovely and attentive. The food is delicious, comes quickly and beautifully presented. Lots of great options and they are very accommodating to menu changes which I love. The cabinet food is all amazing, highly recommend the ginger slice! Really good prices for Remuera too!
This place has new owners, new fit out and is so worth a visit. Mojo coffee and great food and excellent service. I highly recommend it! I had the pork sandwich which was perfectly cooked with an apple slaw, Devine. The atmosphere was casual, light and airy with indoor and outdoor seating this will go off in summer.
Cafe in a garden centre. Easily located and lots of parking. Friendly service. Food and coffee was ok. Good fluffy. Highlight for me was the kids play area which kept my 3 year old very happy. There is a little cubby house with toys and a great trampoline in the outdoor seating area.
Excellent coffee and I love the cooked menu - great portions and delicious! But the best bit is the caravan full of kids toys and the trampoline!! So easy to take the kids here when they can entertain themselves!!

This place is new and the food is absolutely delicious, one of my favourite places in this area. A unique experience dining in a kings plant barn, but definitely worth it for the food.
It is such a bold move to maintain a café near all the competition, including the original Bird on a Wire and Palmers' Café Greenfingers. Despite its location, this café is not only very successful, but also very nice. The service is amazing, the food is high quality and the prices are reasonable. Yes, the children near the little play area outside can be loud, but they just add more to the charm of this place. I can't wait to visit again soon when the sun is shining.
A Great and quite place to sit down, have a chat and relax. Atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing especially sitting amongst all the plants and greenery. Eating area inside is very clean and modern. Would definitely go back again for the Kings Breakfast. Well priced.
Delightful cafe beer garden set in a lovely garden centre. A pleasure to walk thru garden centre and beautiful gift ware area to reach cafe. Easy parking and lots of handicap parking for the elderly. Small range of sweet and savoury in the cabinet but a full menu range of food which was beautifully arranged in a colourful display. Coffee was made exactly to request. Tables well spaced out in the outside area which was so nice as to not be bothered by those who don't know about cafe voice level etiquette! Recommend this place for food setting ambience.
Nice setting inside Kings Plant Barn. Spacious entertainment for kids. Also love the fact it is a pet friendly place. Staff were friendly the food was good. Only took sometime for the orders to arrive.
We had a family lunch here, weather was shocking but we managed to stay dry. The staff were friendly and brought us a heater to keep us warm. A pleasant environment for kids with toys and a play caravan but most of all good food!

Huge shout out to the team especially to Leanne and the Manager, Kaith! I organised a baby shower for my job for a bunch of us ladies and from the first email they were very accomodating and allowed me to choose a menu style that suited the team. Answered all of my emails and queries quickly too.
Yesterday arvo we celebrated the baby shower and honestly have no complaints at all. The food was delicious and considering that there was 22 of us eating (5 different food options too), we all got our meals within 10 minutes of the first meals being served. Quality wasn’t compromised either considering how many meals had to be made in a short time span and the presentation for each dish was pretty. The chefs made gorgeous big pink and blue cupcakes for each guest to eat and they let us make a huge ruckus while playing our crazy games haha! We were in the cafe during closing hours which made it even more special because we got the entire cafe to ourselves.
My biggest thanks to the team! I’m so glad I reached out and decided to go with you guys. Would definitely come back for just brunch or to even host an event here again ❤️❤️❤️
