Food is delicious and always very generous portions, plus some amazing and friendly owners who really know the locals. It's also pretty good value for money as a quick easy dinner!

Best quality and value roast I’ve tried in Auckland. I’ve eaten here many times over the last 7 years. I always get pork, beef or lamb. Always great ingredients and no rubbish or stingy cuts. Divine roast potatoes! I get extra instead of kumara and pumpkin, which I don’t like and they’re happy to do that at the same price. Very fair. It’s easy to see why this place is a massive local favourite and worth traveling to if you want a quality roast dinner! I’ve tried a few nearby competitors through Uber Eats, and they were very disappointing in comparison.

Love this roast shop. Roasts are so much better than most other asian run roast places. Have good options to choose from like small/medium/large/combos and european basic takeaways. Very quick service and cheap. Quality of food is good.

money for value, and the food is delicious. the best roast takeaway me and my wife had so far. Highly recommended!!!
It gets very busy around 6 during the weekdays. So we always ordered the roast on the phone then pick it up.
Haven't tried other food such as sandwich or the fried chicken yet.

Ordered medium lamb roast which was filling and tasty. Lamb was nice and tender, potatoes were nice. I felt like it lacking a little salt hence the 4 stars. Overall nice roast place

Always a pleasure, I used to live around the corner from this roast shop and I used to get a roast chicken roll every week, sometimes more than once a week. But now sadly I live across town. I always make sure to pop in for a roast roll whenever I’m in the area. Thank you for the great food! Best roast shop in Auckland (and I’ve tried a fair few!)

This is an amazing local experience. The value, the taste and the service are all fantastic.
Remember when you used to get dinner with your family at a local roast takeaway when you were a kiddo? Meadowbank Roast does not only provide nostalgia, but also adds to the nostalgic reminiscence with quality meat and great neighborhood friendliness. I will definitely be visiting again.

Great little local roast shop run by a Vietnamese couple. The roast meals are always packed and full of flavour. Roast sandwiches and rolls are also a great quick lunch option. And one of the few roast shops that do "Chips and Gravy".
