Ordered French baguette with two eggs and bacon, a cheese scone and the banana bread. All baked goods were toasted with butter which made them even more delicious. The egg sandwich was amazing as well with the eggs and bacon perfectly cooked. Definitely worth stopping in to have a warm and delicious breakfast.

I absolutely loved this place. We were passing through on the scenic route and found a gem better than the riverton gemstone beach. We walked in within minutes of closing, but were still served no problem. I had the best scone of my life. My husband had a rhubarb muffin and it was so delicious. I cannot recommend the baked goods enough. The coffees were delicious too. When we finished eating, we talked with the owner and received great tips on baking with rhubarb.
If you’re passing through, I highly recommend this place. Baked goods and coffee are worth it!!

Nice 80s decor cafe with some random furniture. Great coffee and food (tried the pressed sandwich and the burger). Very quick service. Didn’t try the cakes but they looked great and homemade.

I had the most amazing food there after 5 months cruising around Aotearoa. You can taste the love and effort put into the baking and cooking ;)

It looked very quiet from the outside but I'm really glad we stopped and went in.
Food choices are limited but I wanted everything that was in the cabinet. Looked amazing, tasted really amazing! Soy flat white was spot on.
Decor was old school and awesome.
The lady that served us was pretty cool.

Wow! Delicious coffee, and THE BEST fried eggs I've ever had; crispy and frilly around the edges, soft in the centre. Highly recommend a stop here!

Love everything about this place, the atmosphere is groovy and the food cabinet takes you so long to choose from, it all looks delicious 😋

This is a neat little cafe with some really cool decor and good food. My poached eggs were done perfectly and the big side of mushrooms was great value for money. Good coffee as well. Gluten free options. Recommended stop if you're traveling this way.

Groovy little cafe in the main street of Riverton. Old school retro vibes! Have visited twice in last 2 weeks and both times my long black has been on point! The owner is one talented barista!! Cafe had been really busy both times and to be honest the staff have been flat out, I'm sure the last few years have been tough so hats off for surviving and still pumping out delish food and the best coffee in Southland.
