Review Ginger Dynamite - Riwaka

If you want to give Riwaka some love, this is the place to do it. Fabulous food fabulous service, and excellent spaces to chill and count your blessings. The region's lendendary sunshine happens here.

Brilliant spot! ANAZING folks here behind the counter, great food pastries, pies, and the coffee was absolutely perfect - flavour, and production. But the service - super friendly and cool. Definitely a 5 :-)

This has to be one of the best places for food and coffee in the top of the South Island. Hand made pies are just sooo good and cakes and coffee are fantastic. Friendly staff and chatting with the owner is the highlight of my day. I cannot pass without stopping in for coffee, pie and a take home date scone for the misses.

The myth and legend is true. Amazing pies and the sausage roll was amazing worth a visit.

Lovely little roadside coffee stop. Run out of a trailer with some seating around it. Shares a spot next to a lovely fruit ice cream spot, so can eat both at the same place. They have good coffee and make lovely little pies, look kinda like pasties but different flavours regularly and often sell out, so be in quick. The lady serving was absolutely lovely and a pleasure to deal with.

Even in the onsetting Winter, Ginger Dynamite is a must-stop for passers-through in Riwaka. The outdoor seating offers crisp fresh air and an indoor module offers warmth for those recently returned from the BMX tracks. The coffee is excellent, and thoroughly worth the trip from Kaiteriteri, Takaka, or Collingwood. The beautiful meat or vegetarian pies look too good to be true. Go here for a uniquely Kiwi stop and enjoy a glass or bottle of Ginger Dynamite's own ginger pop!

Really great pit stop. Brilliant coffee, and as she was close to closing kindly gave us some scones for free and had a good chat while brewing our coffees

Best pies in the south island I reckon, I can't drive past without stopping for one... or two!! I first came here in the silly season and the service is always awesome even when they're really busy, always smiling, the iced coffee rocks too! Thanks guys

We stopped here for a coffee and something to eat, just 2 of us we had a pie each, steak and ale and a mince and cheese. Wow we were impressed with their pies and would highly recommend stopping here.

Good spot for coffee heading to golden bay from Motueka

Great coffee at a good price, perfectly made EVERY time. It's the locals go to place for coffee, yummy pies and pastries. If you are on the great taste trail this is the place to go in Riwaka. 250 metres off the trail easy to find.

Stopped by kind of on a whim. This place is AMAZING!!!! The pies (potato, lentil and curry) were........not even going to try and describe them. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Riwaka, you just have to try one. Or 2. Then we went up and got 4 more for tea through the week. And the Coffee was the best I've had in a long time. WORTH THE TRIP! (Full disclosure, I'm Gabrielle's husband. Just noticed I'm on her acct but she loved it too! Probably even more than me!)

Lee ,at Little Dynamite, is a real happy people person . The coffee, the award winning pies and Lee Lee's Cruffins are amazing. Yum!! See you there tomorrow!!
