Had to try the Bakels Supreme Roast Duck, onion and mushroom pie for $8.90. A steady stream of customers are buying Patricks pies but also try his fabulous fresh cream donuts
I can see why these Pies are the best around, all the awards that this bakery have won speaks volumes of the passion that goes into baking every delicious pie.

Pork belly, mushroom and cheese pie was one of the best pies ive had. Full stop. Excellent quality fillings and pastry. Sweet lamb curry was also fantastic. Even if you didn't like pies they have plenty of other options, the chips were banging as well.

After Heaven’s Bakery closed in Napier, the search seemed never-ending for the long cream filled donut with a spot of raspberry jam on top. Finally being able to find it at Patrick’s gave me such a thrill like an emended weight lifted off my shoulders. Their pies are definitely worth all the accolad
Can get very very busy here at times, being close to all the industrial area as well as being on a main state highway, so pick your times wisely. There is parking next door at the liquor shop.

Pretty good value for money. The roast pork caramelized onion creamy mushroom & cheese pie was delicious.
Really hit the spot, strongly recommend it if you appreciate a damn good pie. Hands down best of the best!

Delicious pies, especially love the creamy mushroom bacon and cheese pie😋 We also ordered a sausage roll, chicken kebabs and a sausage. We were so stuffed:)
Not too bad however we rocked up on the back end of the day. The inside of the Mince and Cheese was good however the pastry was a bit soft
Had the peppered steak - delicious! Tasty, flaky pastry that was buttery yet light. Proper steak chunks. Best pie I’ve had in NZ yet!
Love the variety we can get here. My favourite is the Custard Pie, closely followed by the Sweet Lamb Curry Pie and the Garlic Prawn Pie. YUM!

mushroom, bacon and cheese pie. Absolutely delicious, generous with ingredients. There is quite a bit of pastry (which is delicious and not to greasy), so it can be quite filling.
