Food was lovely. We had the dumplings, chicken poke, beef cheek and garlic bread.
Everything was delicious and well priced.
A couple of small faults; we had to ask twice for water, it would have been nice to have side plates with our garlic bread and the avocado on the poke bowl felt like it was frozen and honestly it would have been absolutely fine without it.
The dumplings were huge and flavours delicious, poke bowl was great and you really can’t go wrong, beef cheek delicious and the sauce amazing, and again the garlic bread you just can’t go wrong.
The atmosphere was lovely and friendly.
We will be back with more room in our stomach for dessert.
Awesome food. Crab meat fried rice excellent. Maseman curry was tasty but a touch to much aniseed for me. Tomahawk steak is a good bit of meat. Kids liked the burger and pizza too. We’ve been twice now
A really nice little restaurant with lovely food. The portion sizes are great and the food is just as tasty. Customer service is great too. Great restaurant for ruakaka 👍
Quick and friendly service. Amazing food - great flavours and quantity for the price. Would recommend trying it out
Delicious meals which were tasty and good sized portions- thank you chefs. Friendly attentive service. Don't be put off by the pub next door. So great to have a lovely SE Asian restaurant in Ruakaka..
Lovely service, very good food, only negative is the horrible wallpaper 🤣 seriously tho', go and try the food.
Recommended by a local because it consistently serves good food, we loved it, especially the drunken noodles with prawns.
This experience was also a good reminder to not judge a place by its location!
First time visiting after the new “Ainga” takeover. Service was fast and friendly and the food was great! I wasn’t expecting to enjoy my meal as much as I did. Started with tempura prawns (cooked perfectly and crispy), and bbq pork buns. Had the steak for mains (tasty) with a side of wok-fried greens (perfectly cooked with a bite to them, good ginger and garlic flavour). The rest of the food looked amazing, the lamb and twice cooked pork especially. Our party of 4 was the only table in there at Sunday lunchtime which surprised me. Definitely worth a visit!
Food is great! Will definitely go again.

This restaurant is the definition of "don't judge a book by its cover". Prompt, friendly, service, good beer and wine. I had my usual buyers regret and changed my order, no problem at all. The Tempura Prawns would have been rated top notch anywhere and our Drunken Noodles and Kung Pao were great. Respect to cooking and serving staff.
