Fantastic food.
Best scotch fillet ever. Similar to my favorite at Boulcott Bistro on Boulcott Street, Wellington. I had to go back to the Boating Club the second night, just to have it again. If you go to Russell, you must eat here if you're looking for an amazing taste sensation without hurting your pocket. Jacki

I was Club Captain and Head Chef in the late nineties for several years and enjoyed every minute! Looks like, from the reviews, the same high standards of yesteryear are being maintained. Good luck to the club and all it's members! Hello Christine Hall!
It is absolutely lovely place to unfortunately I was there for a funeral ⚱️ but to be honest I did enjoy my time at the yacht club remind me of how New Zealand use to be rustic & friendly
