Wonderful customer service, staff very accommodating to small children. They have a family dining area with play/toy corner. My 2yo loved this. We didn't venture outside as it was too cold but they have a daily outdoor area complete with slide and swings and plenty of grass running space. Now let me get to the food, value for money was very good, nicely priced burgers from $7-13, and they were Grand, a side of fries and drinks, plus kids meal & drink, we feed the 3 of us for $50. We will definitely endeavour to visit again. The place just had a lovely feel to it... great food, great service, child friendly, 5 stars well deserved. đź’ś
We dined here on 11 September 2015. We had a great time. The staff were friendly and service was good. The food was plentiful and very tasty. There was plenty to choose from while the meals were a good size we still managed to fit in desert! Would definitely return if we lived in the area. Keep up the good work!
A rare gem in Selwyn, now even better with new owners. Can't praise enough their portion sizes, one serving is good for two people easily! Rustic, charming, absolutely cracker of a spot tucked in Sheffield!
Great value and friendly staff. Family friendly and the burgers are massive especially the “Works” burger! Good beer and a warm fire too. All in all a good experience.
Stopped by after a quadbiking tour on recommendation by Ash (our quad biking tour guide). Wasn't expecting much, but this lil beaut delivered quality tucker at unbelievable prices. Local beer was also decent. Pity the restaurant was booked out for dinner, but the burgers and sides were great value! Definitely the surprise of the NZ trip.
What a great place to get good country food. Friendly, relaxing space and the outdoors area is well looked after with a tended to garden and plenty of outdoor seating. Great staff too!
Very nice meals very nice staff been there twice in 3 weeks for lunches couldn't fault this place we'll keep coming back for sure.
Amazing service, food and menu options. I couldn't believe the amount of options I had being gluten free. So well catered for every one. Lots of toys for children and a swing set and slide outside.
We regularly stop here after hiking. Lovely inside fire and outside picnic tables. Good prices, staff, and excellent potato fries

Sheffield hotel is a regular visit place for our group, we had chicken pizza tonight which was excellent.
