Highly recommended. Lovely scenic cafe surrounded by nature and bird songs. Greeted by the friendly Edrick and Claire and their beautiful family, we felt right at home. The lunch was delicious, we had pizza, chips, croissant, hummus and tabbouleh. For dessert, we had claire's succulent orange almonds cake...thank you for a great culinary experience. We will be coming back soon for the authentic lebanese menu and the legendary Paella prepared by the one and only chef Edrick.

This cafรฉ is nestled in the midst of nature, with short walks alongside blooming rhododendron flowers. Close by, you'll find well-kept caravan and camping grounds. Nearby hiking trails provide an opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty. We've been fortunate to visit this hidden natural gem twice already.

A beautiful cafe with friendly staffs! We had a great day in Orton Bradley park and then went to the cafe to get some food. It was a beautiful building with nice indoor & outdoor seating arrangements. The foods were fresh and tasty. Staffs were very friendly with beautiful smiles ๐We enjoyed our time there. We held a Celebration and Remembrance of our Dadโs life at Orton Bradley Cafe recently. Sandy did an absolutely incredible job from start to finish on all aspects. She was incredibly helpful in accomodating our use of the venue space for different parts of the day such as bagpipes overlooking the sea-view, speeches under a big tree (with the barn as a brilliant plan B wet weather option), and catering a buffet lunch for 60 people. The food was absolutely divine, just so delicious and really beautifully presented. Absolutely 5 stars in terms of quality and professionalism on all fronts and stand out catering. Thank you so much for making this a perfect Memorial for our dear Dad Sandy. We could not be happier with how it went. This place really is a true hidden gem and Sandy and her team align with and compliment it perfectly. We are truly blessed to have this space on offer as a venue in Christchurch. ๐๐ท๐ Ps even the short drive over is kind of magical โจ ๐ ๐
Had one of the mini pizzas here which was delicious! The service was absolutely amazing. A bird decided to poop above me on my hand haha and the staff here were so quiet to grab me baby wipes and hand sanitizer! Overall a great experience in a beautiful setting even though I did get popped on!
My sister & I held our fathers memorial service in the outside area of the cafe in October. It was the perfect setting with the gardens looking glorious and well maintained. The owner, Sandy was very accommodating in every way possible. She also put on a beautifully presented spread of delicious nibbles & refreshments for after the service which was very well received by the guests. The food was wholesome & delicious, dietary requirements were met and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend hosting an event here and will most certainly be back. Even just for a quiet meal with friends. Thank you xx
Been to Orton Bradley Cafe today. We had family staying at the camping ground. Went for morning tea. Lovely coffee, muffins and scones. So nice went back for lunch at 2pm. Food was lovely. Staff were excellent and very friendly.
We had our company Christmas lunch at Orton Bradley Cafe on Sunday and it was a great success. Was 26 of us from adults to kids and everyone had a great time. Sandy who runs the cafe and her staff did a fantastic job looking after us and the food was great. Would highly recommend as a great place to spend some time and relax.
Wonderful cafe with lovely staff. A large group of us arrived after hiking from Packhorse Hut and couldn't have been treated better. Great coffee, great fairly priced food.The staff were angelic, beautiful inside and out, they really shone on the job. The relaxing and tastefully designed atmosphere of the cottage cafe makes it a real winner too. To go even further, the whole place is nestled into beautiful surroundings, with overhanging trees, gardens, a park, doves and a 1hr waterfall track. Would recommend for sunny family gatherings with the kids, meaningful dates, or treating your nana to a day out she'll remember. Highly recommend.
We went for lunch today for our wedding anniversary. What a wonderful place to visit, we were treated like royalty. All of the staff went out of their way to make it a memorable day, the food and coffee were excellent.
