Just a lovely, lovely coffee stop. Has been operating for about 6.5 years (as at Dec 2024) and the barista is just full of smiles and positivity. She was really lovely. Coffee was good: robust but velvety latte for me, and she had ice for and iced black coffee.

I had always thought that the only coffee options in Taihape were on the main road, and had no particular expectations when I found Coffee HQ next to the toilets ... but it was the best coffee I've bought in a while. Offers the full range of coffee options, I was very happy to find somewhere that makes a piccolo. Will definitely return.

Great coffee, great location, great service by a bona fide local gal from mighty Mangaweka! Also got her homemade whole seed mustard which is spectacular in the pork sandwiches we made for lunch. Thank you! 🙏🥰🤗💖

I always make sure I plan my trip around Coffee HQ's opening hours. It's really hard to find a decent almond milk coffee. So if you're an alternative milk drinker, Coffee HQ is the place to go!!

Our go to coffee caravan in Taihape. Being next to the rest room (quite clean) is a bonus. And for historical interest it’s next to the now
