Great food and service! Pizza was amazing. The lamb & steak we’re delicious. Good portions, definitely worth it and glad we chose to dine here. Wish we could go back 👍🏻
We recently (start of October 2014) enjoyed a lovely lunch at Manaia Cafe & Bar. My beetroot and feta salad was delicious and the hubby can't stop raving about his 'Trust the Chef' platter for one - it was huge! The staff were very personable and I love the interesting wine list, especially the international reds. Definitely will be returning.
A couple of weeks ago, we stopped in for breakfast passing through from whitianga. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. The portions were huge and were far too much to finish even though they tasted great! Despite being super full I was tempted by a savoury scroll when paying my bill. This too was amazing when I eventually ate it. Overall, great food. Great value for money. We will definitely stop there again . Yum yum
Called in for lunch today with son, partner and grandson. Such lovely food, presented well and hot. Very friendly service. Definitely worth calling in! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Came here for lunch and dinner on our trip away. We are quite the foodies and were very impressed. Staff were friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Music flows from inside to out. Flames and candles create a warm and romantic ambience. We were shocked to see the comment below. The chef achieves at mixing westernized favorites with other cuisines and is surprisingly successful even tho in a small country town. We are coming back with visitors from overseas. Will be recommending :) please go and enjoy the same experience!
Shout out to the chefs! Beautiful summer evening with amazing food and vibe. Had the mussels with the best Thai sauce we have tried and fresh snapper and prawn spring rolls. Hard to find this in the city - great food and service thanks team

I have to say the staff is very accomodating. We were very hungry and came in just when the kitchen closed. The staff was amazing and accommodated us and served pizzas.
The pizzas were very cooked to just right amount. No burnt bits ! We had 4 cheese pizza and Margarita pizza. It was very tasty and seasoned perfectly.

Exceptional! So tasty and different to another small town places. We came to a steak night and then returned the next day, because everything was great - staff, music, food and drinks. The second time was the same great. Guys, thanks a lot! All the best to you!
I took a star off because the coke was a bit off. The layout is cool and the atmosphere is great. Tairua is pretty dead at night but this is one lively place.
