Couldn’t seem to stay away while we were in Takaka! Great food, great prices Noodles are great, stacked with flavour, veggies and meat. Burgers are also delicious! Fresh crumbed chicken on site every day (so good) Chips are always crispy. Fluffy homemade naan.

Highly recommended. Wide range of food available @ the Curry Leaf. From Fish&Chips to Asian Foods at decent prices. My favourite is Pork Ribs. Melt in your mouth! I always place my order online, no wait at the counter. Pay by Credit Card or Cash on pick up. Overall I highly recommend The Curry Leaf for Takeaways in Takaka. Mean Deal!

On a five week road trip around both of the New Zealand islands and trying the hot chips on offer every day in a different place. The Curry Leaf is No.1 in all of New Zealand! The Biggest serving of perfectly cooked and very reasonably priced potato chips we had anywhere. We turned it into a fiesta of gourmet Chip Buttys. A friendly Aussie owner Andrew - THANKS mate! Best Burgers in Takaka. Can be bit of a wait if its really busy but its worth it. Ring ahead for the win. Nice Fish'n'Chips as well.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! My partner and I were in takaka for almost a week and came here just about everyday! The pork belly wrap is A+++. Tried quite a few things on the menu and loved everything! The burgers were super awesome also. The owner was a cool guy too, great service. Will definitely be back when we get the chance.

Awesome food, very friendly service, old-school prices. I had 2 fish (deliciously fresh hoki) and a generous half scoop for $12. My friends raved about their naan wraps, too.

Turned up New Years Day and they were getting hammered. Didnt stop them from turning out some good takeaways. Batter was crunchy and all the food was piping hot. Cheers!

We had dinner from here after reading other reviews. I had a fish burger and my son had a chicken burger. The rest of the family had fish and chips. The burgers were excellent, very tasty and filling and the chips were great too. Fish was a little bit dry, but overall very good food at a reasonable price.

Wow! Thank you much for our delicious food at an incredible value. For $42 we got 2 drinks, a salad, naan, a fish burger, a scoop of chips, and a yummy vegan Dahl curry. We had just finished a 4 day hike so we were grateful. Food quality was on par (and even better,) than restaurants (we eat out a lot).

The Curry Leaf is the home of amazing banter and tasty house-made food. I've been eating here for over 6 years and keep going back for more! The atmosphere is upbeat and always fun. A fantastic takeaway restaurant who cater to all. 10/10 would recommend. 😁

Great service with funny banter, a wide range of food and fair prices! Beautiful fish, delicious naan wraps and tasty curries. Definitely an up beat place which never leaves you feeling disappointed.

We ordered a whole bunch of food from here. I had the falafel wrap- good. The chips were good too! Huge portions (are they from USA? Lol). The funky thing was, we went there at night to pick up and there were no lights, nothing to show they're open, no fun lights to sit under if you eat at their picnic tables... I hope they get some lights, it would make it a cool place to hang and eat.

Best valued hot food in town. Chips and wedges were yum and good amount for the price. Burgers were also huge. Also had a Dahl and rice and it hit the spot. Very impressed!

We wanted something different and a bit spicy. We ordered Sweet chilli and prawn noodles and a crumbed chicken naan wrap. Generous serving, delicious tasting food. I would come here every day if I lived in Takaka! Highly recommended.

Absolute legends. Asked for cheesey weezy (north island chips with cheese, t sauce and aoili) and the boys delivered.I had heard south islanders call this delicacy Blood and Guts but maybe this is a myth. 10/10 customer service. Go and eat some cheesey weezy yourselves boys to celebrate your 5 star google review.
