Highly recommended. Wide range of food available @ the Curry Leaf. From Fish&Chips to Asian Foods at decent prices. My favourite is Pork Ribs. Melt in your mouth! The Curry Leaf is No.1 in all of New Zealand! The Biggest serving of perfectly cooked and very reasonably priced potato chips we had anywhere. We turned it into a fiesta of gourmet Chip Buttys. A friendly Aussie owner Andrew - THANKS mate! Awesome.
Best Burgers in Takaka. Can be bit of a wait if its really busy but its worth it. Ring ahead for the win. Nice Fish'n'Chips as well.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! My partner and I were in takaka for almost a week and came here just about everyday! The pork belly wrap is A+++. Tried quite a few things on the menu and loved everything! The burgers were super awesome also. The owner was a cool guy too, great service. Will definitely be back when we get the chance.
Awesome food, very friendly service, old-school prices. I had 2 fish (deliciously fresh hoki) and a generous half scoop for $12. My friends raved about their naan wraps, too.
Turned up New Years Day and they were getting hammered. Didnt stop them from turning out some good takeaways. Batter was crunchy and all the food was piping hot. Cheers!
We had dinner from here after reading other reviews. I had a fish burger and my son had a chicken burger. The rest of the family had fish and chips. The burgers were excellent, very tasty and filling and the chips were great too. Fish was a little bit dry, but overall very good food at a reasonable price.
Wow! Thank you much for our delicious food at an incredible value. For $42 we got 2 drinks, a salad, naan, a fish burger, a scoop of chips, and a yummy vegan Dahl curry. We had just finished a 4 day hike so we were grateful. Food quality was on par (and even better,) than restaurants (we eat out a lot).
The Curry Leaf is the home of amazing banter and tasty house-made food. I've been eating here for over 6 years and keep going back for more! The atmosphere is upbeat and always fun. A fantastic takeaway restaurant who cater to all. 10/10 would recommend. 😁
