We came in shortly before lunch time... HIS lunch time. And still he welcomed us very heartily, offered us a seat, had a nice talk with us and brought amazingly tasty, fresh Indian food based on family recipe. Which you really taste.

Authentic and vibrant with flavours. Tasty, traditional Indian dining experience. Although, I would rather eat my meal off a ceramic plate and steel spoon than a biodegradable plate and spoon.
Also the large size isn't all that large. But I do love how the meal is brought out on a wood tray in ceramic dishes. Cute!
Delicious, authentic Indian food for take away. I highly recommend. I ate a cashew chicken dish and it was so good. I ordered a lot of food for a meeting, everyone loved what they ate. Quality ingredients, lovely family, asset to Takaka!
Amazing gluten free and vegetarian food. The embodiment of quality and reliability. Organic. They work hard to minimize their environmental impact. Type of food is aromatic Indian dishes with flavours, not salt. Recommend the scrambled paneer. Not expensive but it takes them 15 minutes or more to prepare takeaway and it's worth the wait if you like authentic Indian and a chat with two highly educated lovely people!
When came inside Manna, I immediately sensed a very strong Indian feel, the smell , the decoration, the people who served me and at last the food are all Indian.I love Takaka, it is a charming little town with a very good artistic taste, I think Manna plays a significant role to make Takaka a lovely town with good taste and good food. The talk with the owner was awesome, hope one day I can return to enjoy the talk and the food.
Absolutely delicious and unparalleled fresh flavor! We enjoyed Singapore Chicken and Veggie Curry with Roti bread. Excellent Indian food in the remote city of Takaka.
Just had a wonderful dinner at Manna this evening. The meal was delicious, very generous, and everything was prepared beautifully. I have not had an Indian meal this authentic and tasty since my Wellington days <3
Everything about Manna makes you feel good. The staff are attentive and considerate, the surroundings very comfortable and the food is outstanding. You could taste the love that went into the preparation. I will certainly go back whenever I’m in Takaka.
Very authentic South India Cuisine, dine in or take away. Food is very tasty. Highly recommend corinander prawn! Worth a visit, price not bad. Definitely one of the must visit restaurant in Takaka.
Delicious Palak paneer, Shahi chicken and mango lassi! Lovely family who run the restaurant who were super friendly and accommodating to our kids. I love their commitment to a minimal carbon footprint and quality tasty fresh ingredients, you can taste the love!
