I recently visited Gails of Tamahere to attend a function and honestly the place is just so beautiful. The two historical churches on the property are lovely, and gardens are so nicely kept. In addition to that, the beautiful fountain and long stretching attached pool are breathtaking.
Next I have to mention the food which is all produced on the premises and not just purchased elsewhere and decorated. The little canapes I was served were exquisite, her passion fruit cheesecakes are to die for. The meats and veges in the main meal were cooked to perfection, the salads were so fresh and tasty, and served with the most lovely homemade dressings.
The guy on the bar (Daniel) is such a nice guy and all Gail's staff are so friendly and really go out of their way to look after you. I would not hesitate to recommend Gails of Tamahere to anyone looking to book a function, lunch or funeral. Thank you so much Gail!
