Delicious! This place lives up to it's name. I only got a photo of the Greek Salad I ordered but that steak was AMAZING! Service was friendly and fast. We really enjoyed eating here. It is a bit pricey but fair enough.
Stopped here on the way to visit Mount Ruapehu, which you get a wonderful view of over Lake Taupo.

The food overall was pretty good. The steaks were cooked a little unevenly, but were overall pretty good. The sauce they came with was pretty tasty, i don’t recommend getting the $5 steak topper. We had Scotch fillet steak and another one with bone marrow, it was really nice but there was no veges with the steak. We did order some entrees and other sides. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant.

Place was nice and warm. Hospitality was perfect. Food was great. The calamari and pork belly for entree was to die for and set up nicely for a beautiful medium cooked scotch fillet with mushroom sauce on a bed of baked potatoes.
On the 23rd of august me and my partner had been walking around Taupo for well over 30mins looking for a restaurant to dine in, after being turned away from one particular restaurant due to short staffing issues, we found The SteakHouse.
