Really great food and cocktails offered here. We ordered the vegetarian nachos to share as well and they were amazing. The service of the staff was really excellent and it was a beautiful spot near the river. A great place - i will be back.
Fantastic service. Warm and inviting. Best lemon lime bitters I've ever had. Really beautifully presented meals. Lamb rump on hot stone that you could then cook the meat to your level... partner had the pork belly. Shared desert. Awesome environment lake views and all. Will re visit for sure

Good selection of craft beers and location near the lake with good people watching makes the Lakehouse a regular choice for our visits to Taupo.
The food is good, but not amazing. There’s a range of burgers, pizzas, tacos and other pub staples.
If you’re after a [craft] beer and burger, this is a good option.
The food here is fine but let's be real, the drinks here are fantastic. This place introduced me to my favorite beer of all time: White Mischief by Garage Project. Do yourself a favor and go here with an open mind and a clean pallette. You'll walk out loving beers you didn't know existed. Fairly priced and great service.
Had an awesome night with my colleagues last week at Lakehouse Taupo after a busy shift. Yummy ribs with perfect crispy kumara on the side! Staffs are quite friendly and accomodating too. Price wise = great as well 👍
Great view, pretty good food. Pizza was much better than it looks but probably would go with a burger next time. Steak sandwich was unreal. Service was pretty meh. I’m told the margarita was excellent

Decent selection of craft beer and some nice choices for food. Seafood came out on a hot rock that I was able to cook the food on to my liking. Careful! Extremely hot!
Sat inside and enjoyed the rugby match while enjoying a hot stone steak! Service and atmosphere was great - Would recommend you stop by for drinks or a meal.
They have a good variety of beers and ciders to choose from.
These guys had really great service, lovely food, amazing whiskey and lovely views. Was busy and packed but still enjoyed our dinner. Top marks
