This cafe is amazing and the staff are lovely. Now the Bacon Brioche Burger was divine and his the Lamb was apparently juicy delicious. The donuts 🍩 are exactly Pillow soft as it states and the drinks next level.
Best Flat White I have had in a long time. Strong coffee beans too. On cloud 9 with that coffee and could rave enough to them. The food is very tasty, great large portions and we heading back to pick up their famous doughnuts on way back to the Hawke's Bay..
Walked in on a whim to try one of their advertised “Franuts” and received great service with a smile! Always a plus in my book. I arrived at the end of the day and they only had the option of the hazelnut almond donut but I was not disappointed; so good! Best donut I’ve had in New Zealand so far.
Cute lol Café, they have great deals on grabone app. I got a choco snicker frappe, and oreo mousse donut. My partner had mixberyy smoothie and a blueberry custard donut. They're a soo good, definitely recommend for a quick bite 🍩🍩
We had the hot chocolate and it’s was perfect for us 🤩 everything was good, the toilet has a changing table for the babies ;) awesome.
This is our second visit to this cafe and I have to say they have improved on our last visit.
The coffee is ok but here in Taupo there are some excellent places to get great coffee. The hot chocolate was excellent as reviewed by our son. My coffee was better than last time so hopefully they keep working on that. They accomodate my hubby by changing his drink to suit him, which was great customer service!
If I was rating them on the donuts only they would get 4.5. They have an excellent selection.
So their service and donuts pull the rating up. Sadly the coffee lets them down. Will we be back. Yes but only to grab and go with donuts.

Very friendly staff Eggs Bennidict was absolutely beautiful crunchy Bacon and the hollandaise sauce was superb my grand son had chicken and chips are they were delicious to as tried some of his. He also had a chocolate drink with a donut added to it and he seemed to really enjoy that to. Would be very happy to go there again.Nice comfortable cafe. 5*+ thank you to all the staff very nice experience. 👍
They make very interesting fancy frappuccinos with donuts on top! It looks really mouth watering
Donuts are really good, can definitely believe the hype on them. Staff were friendly but our orders took ages to arrive. Even the drinks, with a later group getting theirs before us. Maybe we were forgotten? Although there were only 2 other small groups there, so not quite sure how that could happen. I'd go again, but perhaps just for takeaway donuts next time.
