I went there for lunch time and there are not many people so that I could enjoy time here.
Unfortunately I could have pork ribs which I wanted..steak was nice okay and chips were great. Dumpling is not that great.
I would try other food next time.
Tuesday night very quiet ,weather was not the best. Friendly bar staff. Typical pub food. Steaks were nicely done. Large portion of nachos. Calamari nice and tender. Reasonable prices . Meals were enjoyed by all.

The best eatery on the Strand, stayed in Tauranga 2 nights, lunch both days at Cornerstone, can't fault the service, great food and a full selection of ale on tap. Other eateries nearby no very busy, lots of diners at Cornerstone.
It's so rare to find such a good value restaurant at such a popular strategic high value location on Taurangas esplanade. Sunday roast was just perfect then we treated ourselves to a delightful tricked up banana split desert. Service fast and friendly. Highly recommended!!!
