This restaurant shows excellent customer service by taking the customer’s feedback and putting it into action. When we told them that the salmon in the Salmone pizza was a bit dry, the waitress immediately told the Chef. They even took it off the bill, which means they are serious with their food quality.
We ordered for Verde and Funghi pasta and soup of the day, they are all delicious. The kids menu is a real value for money as well. It has a big size pizza for a kid, drink and ice cream for just $15. And if you order too much pizza it still tastes great the next day.

I dined alone, having told the wait staff that I needed to be served quite quickly in order to get across the street in time to see the start of a movie. Although there was almost a full house they attended to my needs promptly. I couldn't fault the food or the service, so I hope to return in future, with company, to relax and enjoy the experience without having to rush.
My husband and I just went out for dinner as a combined birthday celebration at La Toscana and it was 100% excellent. Really yummy food, excellent service and an overall brilliant time out.

Traveling from Melbourne, truly amazed by the food here. As a life-long foodie, they serve one of the best pizzas and the BEST garlic bread I have ever had! Man, in such a small town, the food truly puts big cities such as Melbourne in shame.
Went between 5:30pm-6:30pm and had the 2 people deal. It was $60 for garlic bread, 2 pizza or pasta, 2 desserts and 2 drinks. The garlic bread, funghi penne and campagniola pizza were amazing!😋 Highly recommend if you are visiting Te Anau
Unquestionably one of the best pizza and pasta dining experiences I have ever had. The service and quality of food was top quality and very reasonably priced. There were a lot of local folks ordering here and it is easy to see why. The staff were friendly and professional. The pizza's were wood fired and the bolognese was home made style. One of our guests is well travelled in Italy and she said it was as good, if not better, than anything she had tasted there. Do yourself a favour and dine here, you won't be disappointed.
We ate here when we stopped in Te Anau. The food was excellent (particularly the garlic bread!) It was very busy and the waitresses were always on the go but still managed to accommodate anyone who came in.
We had the set menu which was very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to eat out in Te Anau!
Delicious pasta and great service. Really friendly local atmosphere, we were passing through on holiday and it seemed well-loved by the townspeople. Not a great selection of vegetarian-friendly meals but the few they did have were delicious.
This is a great little restaurant in Te Anau, and judging how busy it was, very popular with the locals. The service was fast and friendly - with quite a large team of enthusiastic young people. Food was very tasty and excellent value with generous portions. We’d recommend to anyone looking for a cheap and cheerful meal in Te Anau.
So the salad is okay, but too violent. Tastes delicious but too much garlic. Don't order if you want to be around people for the next three days.

I am not a vegetarian, but I think it's great to find a selection that shows that you can eat delicious without meat. Most of the time veggie pizzas are boring. Not here.
The base is thin, the ingredients are fresh, and the composition shows outstanding creativity!
Not sure it was because we were hungry after a long hike, the seafood pizza we have for sharing was one of the best we ever eaten. Pretty of seafood and they blended in well in taste. Thin crust was firm even after the pizza was cold.
60$ for 2 people, garlic bread, 2 mains (pizza/pasta), deserts and 2 drinks (house beer or wines, good selection). A great deal from 5:30 to 6:30. Get in early as they fill up fast. Great service and lovely meal
This was such a pleasant surprise.
Service was attentive, warm and friendly.
But the star was the food.
We ordered a marinara pasta and a medium seafood pizza. When it was served, we felt that the portions were huge and were convinced we could not finish it.
The pasta was generously portioned with lots of minced beef in the sauce. It was suitably sweet and sourish which really helped to open the palate for a meal. Would go great with red wine. Pasta was al dente and perfect.
The seafood pizza was another gem of a meal. Generous portions of seafood can be found in the toppings. Prawns, mussels, salmon and lots of cheese on a tomato based sauce. The crust was slightly curved and perfect and everything tasted just right.
Suffice to say, we finished everything in this meal. Which is saying a lot, it was just done so well we have to finish it.
Do note it only operates on Tuesday to Saturday with rest days on Sunday and Monday.
Fantastic stuff. Must try.
