Loved the vibe at the Sugar grill. Great customer service and lots of friendly staff. Clean and fresh & a awesome open indoor/outdoor flow. The food was delicious and great portions. We ordered a range of food from the menu and we were happy with everything. Kids enjoyed their hot Chocolates and pancakes while we thoroughly enjoyed our eggs bene, big Breakfast, pancakes and French toast. Will definitely visit again soon.

We ordered the egg Benedict and the pancakes stack. The pancake was delicious. Definitely be coming back again to try the other items on the menu.
We came here because we heard they have spectacular vegan pancakes, and we were not disappointed. The “plantcakes” are a pile of deliciousness that I would gladly come back for next weekend’s brunch. The sugar grill also offer around three other vegan options that we’re excited to try. Great friendly service by all of the staff as well 😊

Cute new cafe in Te Atatu with great food and great service. Yes, as previous reviews have stated, the wait staff are young, but on both occasions I’ve visited, they’ve been nothing but accomodating and polite. The cabinet food looks amazing, as well as the cookie and milk options! But the French toast... I’m used to seeing macadamia crusted brioche French toast and don’t get me wrong, I love that kind of thing, but sometimes you just want a simple egg French toast like the stuff you used to make at home when you were learning how to cook. Simple, yet a delicious dish and they’ve got it right here at The Sugar Grill. Topped with maple syrup, fresh berries and a side of vanilla bean ice cream! The portion size will have you waddling out the door. But not before you pick up a fresh jam and cream donut on the way out!
Nice food, good service, bacon was really good and crispy and good sized food , was quiet enough when we went but hear it gets very busy . Will go back and try some more next time in the area

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food, service and atmosphere are all fantastic. I had a mocha and the french toast, and both tasted amazing. They also have a cabinet full of beautiful treats which I will have to try another time.
Such amazing customer service we booked in last minute for a family of 8 and two kids and they managed to squeeze us in.
Customer Service was lovely they have very friendly staff. Also our food and drinks came out quick. Our food was lovely we enjoyed our time there. Special mention to the lovely lady who served us today and was very patient with us. Didn’t catch her name but we came Saturday 7/01 around 12:45pm lunchtime.

A definite cut above. Visited at level three. The $10 for cheese toastie and $6 fries. The food was phenomenally good. I mean look at the photos and they don't do the four cheese toastie justice. The service was also excellent. Checked with the chef as it was a stat holiday and he had started cleaning. Checked where we were eating, because we would need napkins and cutlery, which she then provided. This place is fantastic. Thank you to the lady who served us and to the chef. We will be back after lockdown. It looks nice inside but if it's a sunny day we are still just as likely to take away to the park. Another must visit.
Great experience today apart on the wait time (proly cause they wernt expecting burger & fries meals at 9am lol, but food was good and portions was on point👌 Definitely recommend others to try🙂

Great little hidden gem! Food was delicious and well priced. Location was great with lots of parking available near a supermarket. Was quite a busy little cafe and loads of yummy treats on offer in house. Friendly staff, clean dining space and family friendly too!
The portions were huge and the service was really fast. The chips were golden and crispy and my partner liked his burger. The fish while super fresh was let down by the thick cakey batter.
The dining environment was really enjoyable. My friend and I ordered Creamy Mushroom and Strawberry pancake together. The coffee tasted excellent, the food portion was big and so delicious. Their service and environment made me and my friend enjoy our meeting so much that we lost track of time. We stayed there over 3 hours. I will definitely go back again and I strongly recommend it.
Excellent! Awesome spot. Very warm and inviting. Had brunch on mother's day. Food was delicious. And delivered very quickly. The handsome lad on dishes seemed to be doing a lovely job! Prices are great. Good value for money!
Although it might have been quicker to fly to Ecuador to buy some coffee beans the coffee I did get was absolutely delicious. Barista knows his stuff. It was also busy and Saturday morning. Worth the wait. 5 stars.
