Great coffee. Yummy cabinet food. Awesome service. $44 for 4 hot drinks, 1x caramel slice, 2 x sweet muffins, 1x ploughmans sandwich. All vegan, though only one us are. Yummy food and even though they were busy - not a long wait. We ordered from cabinet because we didn't want to wait.

Loads of vegan meals and gluten free options. You need to ask to get both vegan and gluten free but they do have options. Great find in the north end of Thames and well worth a visit.

A fantastic feast for vegans and non-vegans alike. Fresh, healthful and delicious. And very good service! But come early - they close at 3pm

Top range of fresh tasty food with lots of vegetarian options as well. Delicious coffee. Indoor and outdoor seating. Also garden seating out the back with toys to play with- if you can get them off the kids. Friendly service.

A delightful find - a great range of great food in a charming, quirky atmosphere. Lots of options from snacks to a hearty feed, with free-range, organic, vegetarian/vegan, gluten-free and organic featuring heavily on the menu. Staff were friendly and attentive. And you can "pay it forward" by buying a coffee or meal that the staff will then gift to someone who looks like they need it... Everything about this place made me smile. A must-visit for all tasteful visitors to Thames.

Have always loved this cafe the owners would let us bring our dog around the back so we could eat in the court yard and would also get water for pup. Great coffee and yum food. For Thames it's been a instatution. Would recommend all day every day. I not use when but I think they changed owners. Bit still good

Great vegetarian options available. Friendly staff and great coffee. Nice outdoor courtyard and dog friendly as well. Art decor on walls is often updated and supports local artists which is nice.

We come here every time we travel through Thames. Especially love the enchiladas. This time however they had run out. The substitute was still good. We also enjoy the salads. Coffee is really delicious. It's dog friendly out the back it was nice someone brought our dog some water. Didn't realise she was so thirsty.

Really enjoyed varied and interesting food choices (inc vegan) great coffee and comfortable and clean environment. Staff are lovely and helpful. Will be back whenever we visit Thames.

Sublimely created real food Vegan, gluten free foods with fresh tasty ingredients and taste combinations that leave you sated. Vege Vegan Wrap with Asparagus and Corn Salad is my new favourite lunch stop. Alive and conscientious staff with lovely warm energy and atmosphere. Find this place

Great café in the heart of Thames. Cozy interior, friendly service, great coffee and baking and a lot more. They sell bread, pastries, and cheese outside the store every Saturday at the weekly Thames market, which is a moust-visit if you enjoy classic kiwis style markets. Anyway, a great cafe with a quiet little rear garden for you to sneak out and enjoy your coffee away from the hustle and bustle. My preferred cafe in Thames township.

Have been frequenting Sola for over 10 years when in Thames I will often go for a coffee and bite to eat. Live the vibe. Food is great and Staff are always friendly. Great service.

I'm just sitting here eating the vegan nachos and revelling in the atmosphere. The food is so good!! And the staff and visitors remind me of home. Lovely chatty staff and friendly customers. I can honestly say Sola is my new local. �

Food was really good, and coffee was excellent. Was served by a very friendly young girl who was great with customers. Was a bit surprised and let down when she kindly checked if one of the food items I was ordering was OK for vegans and another woman just yelled at her that she didn't know, they don't make them so how could they know. Was a bit embarrassing because all customers could hear, and I would expect more from a cafe that prides itself on its vegetarian / vegan food.

Went in for lunch today with friends The first thing I noticed was the menu hadn't changed from the last time I was there - 4 years ago However the most horrifying thing that happened was that we were sitting at our table waiting for our meals & drinks to arrive when a staff member wiped down a table adjacent, then proceeded to wipe a spill up off the floor under the same table and then...... Finished wiping the table with the same cloth . Hello ... Health & Safety

Fabulous food in a fun environment. Would absolutely recommend it.

First place I had been that had so many vegan options! Was amazing!! Staff were super patient too with us showing up with a whole lot of family and taking up most of their cafe! Very much looking forward to getting back to this beautiful place. Loved the panini!
