My family and I enjoyed a lovely meal there just before Christmas. The food was great and the service was excellent. They couldn't do enough for us. Prices are very competitive too - very good value for money. Highly recommended.

I had a lovely meal with my partner last night. The place was quite busy so I couldn't understand why there was only one waitress serving so many ppl. She was very efficient, friendly and got our meals to us as fast as she could even though she was obviously run off her feet. The chicken and mushroom sauce was delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely stop in next time I am passing through Timaru again.

Amazing meal fabulous and very attentive staff!!! Great ambience. We will be back. We had a baby, a 9 year old ,a teenager, two younger couples (1 of the women was very pregnant), and 2 old couples. We all enjoyed it. Thank you very much xxx

The chef's special was very tasty and sharply priced. Food for other members in our party was also tasty and nicely presented. The wait-staff were attentive and professional. Although it is a cafe and bar, the food is restaurant quality and is very nice dining in a budget.

Had Valentine's day dinner last night at the Copper bar. We were very impressed, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly, We'll definitely be going back. Thanks for a great start to our evening out.

Easy meal for money. Service was very scarce though it was on a busy night. Can cater for birthdays and groups alike. Enjoyable restaurant area with outdoor setting away from a bar of which stocks pretty much all your standard drinks. Also a small gambling den in back.
