stopped in for a quick afternoon snack, the chips were... well cheap as chips, and really tasty too. you have the option to choose your own music which is cool, overall good little local pub :))
Great nights and atmosphere. Had the steak burger but my mate attempted the full size ribs and was a big effort to finish ;)

Visiting whanau while on holiday, Stopped in for a beer ended up having lunch a most delicious 2x burger and chips meal wow I know a nice burger when I eat it.Our host very lovely .We loved her beautiful smile and conversation.We went back for dinner the next night with our Whanau.Nice to have met you all thank you.

I recently dined at “ Waimate hotel” in town. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment walked in, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and shown to my table promptly.
Charlie and Maggie are wonderful and humble people.
Overall, Waimate hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of both food and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a casual dining experience with great food and service 💜💜
Lunched here today and found staff to be very honest and apologized when delay in serving our meal coz ran out of ingredients and had to go to local supermarket. They were very generous and didn't charge for our lovely lunch.
