Great coffee! Friendly staff and tasty food. Had the sausage roll (huge!) and delicious. Partner had the smashed avo, also super tasty.

What a gem in waimate. Amazing sandwiches with no compromises made on size and flavour with a reasonable price tag on it. Freshly made sourdough bread to buy and used in their dishes. Everything was great. Staff food atmosphere.
Stopped in on a rainy morning after a local cycling race. It was BUSY! The staff were very calm under pressure and we got our food and drinks in a timely manner. It's a lovely space and it would be great to lounge in the outdoor space on another, less damp occasion. Food and coffee were great!

This never changes from one visit to another. The food, atmosphere and service are great and well worth a visit. So if you are in the neighbourhood please find them and give them a try.
This is a wonderful cafe, which is probably why it's often hard to find a table to sit at. The service is genuinely warm and efficient, while the food is nothing less than magnificent, with good-sized portions. Coffee is nicely strong too, so all in all, this is a place that deserves repeat visits, as it will from us.
Best pie I've ever had, had to get another after. Highly recommended the Lamb Shoulder. Good coffee too.
It's worth going for a treat! Clean and spacious. Friendly staff. Play area for kids and plenty of seating inside or outside.
