Enjoyed lunch there today 01.04.23massive beef burger with fries very nice with a flat white coffee average . Service was good and ambience ok . It appeared clean and tidy . Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday

Lovely place, staff, food & coffee. Had the vegan brekkie called, The Good Stuff - mushrooms, kumara, scrambled no egg, potato rosti's & avocado. Hubby had the salmon & capers eggs Benedict. Both good portions & well seasoned

Wonderful little cafe we stumbled upon. Friendly service, clean and the coffee signs were fun to read. The food was great! (it been awhile since I've had perfectly cook eggs on my eggs bene) the coffee was also really good. Only suggestion would be to wear warm clothes, it's a bit drafty in the cafe especially on these colder windy days.

Extremely nice coffee here. With a nice set vibe. Sit down area is both inside and outside with some limited seats inside but good set of seats outside. It is a nice little cafe to come visit close to the train station for some quick food and coffee.

Ordered the eggs bene. It was good! Lots of bacon and mushrooms. Would have liked a larger slice of bread though, felt like I got the end of a loaf. The beetroot(?) dressing was also pretty overpowering. Overall good though!

Called in at Cafe Red Woods in Swanson. Service was quick and efficient. Team were friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed great coffee and ambience.

Great consistent double shot coffee. Friendly staff! Mocha comes with chocolate fish, which is a bonus :) Food is what you would expect from cafe food.

Oreo frappe is the best thing I have ever tasted. Big breakfast was absolutely delicious. Good portion size filled me up quite nicely. Would rate higher if possible

Came in for lunch with mom today. We ate with the cafe owners as we were invited here to review the cafe. We got the Paleo bowl, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, corn fritters, flat white, mocha and cappuccino with a shot of vanilla. The smoked salmon was really delicious and the poached egg was runny on the inside. The scrambled eggs were at a good consistency and the salmon mixed inside was real flavorful. The toast wasn't too hard or thick. The avocado spread on top gave the toast a bit more flavour. Mushrooms were large and the portion size was good. The cappuccino was at the perfect temperature for drinking and the shot of vanilla gave it some sweetness. The mocha came with a chocolate fish and white marshmallow. Service was good. The environment was relaxing. The coffee came out real quick. The food only took around 15 minutes. Strongly recommend ordering something with salmon in it.

Great coffee and lovely eggs benny but always loved the original eggs benny would prefer if the cafe was less extravagant with puréed beetroot and more spinach 😁

Shouted my mum birthday lunch and we came here. There was some outdoor seating tables so sat outside in the beautiful sunshine. Food was on the pricey side. We ordered:Fish & Chips, Chefs Spicy Pulled Pork Sandwich, B.L.A.T, curly fries(for my niece as they didn't have a kids menu). Drinks: Hot Chocolate, Strawberry Milkshake and Iced Coffee. The food was delicious, we were all happy with what we got. The curly fries were seasoned really well so I'd come back just for those. Presentation of drinks and food was really nice. Also had a coupon for 25% off so I saved $19.20, bonus! Overall we were all really happy with this choice. I think room for improvement would be adding a kids menu or options. Keen to return.

It's one of my favorite cafe in West Auckland and a usual stop before heading to the local beaches. I especially enjoy their omelets, which you are allowed to choose the ingredients you like. It offers quite standard cafe dishes and usually the services are excellent. However, the services can be slow during these busy times, but don't worry, there are other great cafe nearby when you have a coffee emergency. 😊

Has changed hands several times in the last few years.  Is currently a clean, friendly place to grab a coffee or a cooked brunch.  Indoor and outdoor seating.  Small lip at the door no real obstacle to most wheelchair users.  Small park adjacent.<br/><br/>I enjoy the big breakfast here, or occasionally the fish and chips.  Coffees and smoothies are always good--won't blow your socks off, but good.   Wish they kept longer hours.

Come here whenever i'm driving through for a coffee. One of the best coffees out west, staff are awesome and really good pies. Haven't tried any menu food yet but it all looks yum!

Stumbled across this lovely cafe on our road trip in West Auckland and I was completely blown away! <br/><br/>Their coffee are the best I've tasted in all Auckland and their food are so utterly divine! <br/><br/>We had the salt and pepper squid, BLAT, Big Breakfast and king Salmon Scrambled Eggs. <br/><br/>It's a wonderful experience dining and chilling out there. <br/><br/>I love the decor: it's so quirky and breathtakingly fabulous! <br/><br/>The owner Amy is a lovely lady and an amazing hostess. <br/><br/>It's so far from my home (1 hour drive) but this is my weekend cafe from now on. <br/><br/>The drive is so worth it, and as a foodie, what's an hour drive compared to absolute divine food experience?!<br/><br/>Thanks, Cafe Redwoods for making my weekend so much more enjoyable! <br/>

As a coffee lover, I go to café often around Auckland. I travelled from East Auckland to try this cafe out. I'd highly recommend the coffee (I ordered a mocha) and breakfast. Great atmosphere, friendly staff members with exceptional customer service and they had a range of items on display. I will be back!

The food here is amazing. Everything is always well presented, very fast at coming out and not in small portions. The staff are lovely and always friendly. Such a clean environment and we come here every weekend! Beautiful

Have come into this café quite a few times over the last couple weekends, and I must comment on how wonderful the staff are! There is a girl in particular who is very genuine and nice to customers of all ages which was very lovely to see as some places I've been served at have lacked at that. Today, it being a busy day, there was a wait on coffees. She was very apologetic, but managed to serve all as quick as possible finished with an apology and a "have a good day" this is fantastic customer service that should be in all places! Will be returning more often - beautiful coffee and wonderful looking food :-)

Had the most amazing eggs beni, and boyfriend had the big breakfast bott so good. Didnt have to wait for ages. Staff were very froendly and was very clean and tidy.

Fresh grilled mushrooms marinated in garlic oil and sundries tomato, served with sliced kransky sausage on ciabatta!! <br/>Coffee lab beans, 100% independently nz owned roaster. Finest exotic arabica beans.

Always come here as it is a convenient location. Lots of parking around the back of the cafe. My husband got the big breakfast and I got the eggs benedict. They happily swapped the mushrooms on the big breakfast for avocado (husband doesn't like mushrooms) and I have the salmon and spinach filling on my benedict. The food took around 15 minutes and coffees were ready by the time we sat down. Coffee was hot an rich and food was delicious.

I don't know about the wait time for menu items, but the cabinet food is always delicious and the coffee prompt. A decent coffee and not over priced. The decor could probably do with an update but it's more rustic than shabby.

I Actually really enjoyed eating here me and my boyfriend had breakfast here on Sunday I ordered the pancakes and they gladly swapped the Grilled banana for a berry compote and cream the pancakes were piping hot and my boyfriend had ordered the big breakfast and he loved it the tomato was really well cooked which was great as most cafes seem to only half cook them the bacon and eggs were amazing and he had also ordered a regular latte a little small might order a large next time but I had an earlgrey tea and that was delicious staff were very patient and friendly and the service was very good under 15 min for breakfast and the drinks came out almost as soon as we were seated I really enjoyed eating here and will be back again p.s the mushrooms on ciabatta look amazing :)

I love this cafe. They make great coffee, and I really like their big breakfast. The staff are very friendly and the owners call you by name. The prices are reasonably low. It's a lovely building with nice wood to look at, abd a high ceiling with exposed beams. It gives the whole place a nice open feeling.

As soon as you walk in it is hard to miss how grubby and shabby the place is. The windows, glass cabinets, everything needs a dam good clean. Food average, but couldn't get over the dirty surroundings so finished early, and will never return.<br/>A shame when the town is so appealing, and worth a visit.

Went there on Good Friday, faultless coffee, nice touches like chocolate fish on the saucer. Food was fast, hot,tasty and the atmosphere was lovely. They were busy yet worked well as a team to get everyone served in a timely manner.<br/>NO complaints at all, good pricing , but that coffee....... Definitely one to add to your must go to list.<br/>Parking outside the door , on the street or car parks available a minutes walk away. HIGHLY recommended

My friend and I went for Sunday breakfast. Very dissapointing. Waited half an hour for poached eggs on toast. There were at least 3 staff with 6 patrons. Mushrooms had onion peel in them and when I pointed it out to the staff I received a half hearted apology. The classy salt container (still in the retail container)and looking at the empty milk cartons and boxes on the floor beside us all made for a rather poor experience. Wont be rushing back to eat.
