Stinking hot day in Wanaka 30 degrees . The only pub of the 3 I went to , to have good air con . Good service and a clean bar. The meals were expensive but got a special on burgers and chips . That was 14 dollars and well worth it . Recommend this bar

Nice clean pub with good staff went on a Saturday and place was quite so really good if you want to get away from the main crowd

We were asked to scan the QR code and go to a table. A lady came to the table as we sat down introduced herself and asked what we would like to drink. We order and when two of the party finished their drinks she asked if they wanted another and they said yes and away she went and returned with the drinks. She remembered what they had ordered. The experience was great and this was during lockdown 2. With that sort of service the staff should be congratulated and people should visit for the same fantastic experience.

Absolutely love the Bullock Bar. Since the new owners took over it is an amazing place to dine. Great atmosphere and nothing is a problem with the staff who certainly go the extra mile to accommodate. Great place to have a drink, dine. play the pokies or place a bet. Great place to hold the work functions. An all round lovely locals pub.

Fantastic service. Patient barman that waited while I mucked about making up my mind. Good simple food. Not too much to choose from which was great. Hubby had the steak and ale pie with seasonal veg. I had the rib eye with seasonal veg. The steak and pie were gorgeous but the veg! Hubby doesnt generally like veg but he just couldnt get enough. Plenty of sports to watch if you're that way inclined. Music in the background but still very easy to have a nice conversation. Loved the atmosphere and casual setting. Thanks for a great visit.

Stopped in for a cheeky beer while we waited for fish and chips from across the road, handy having a bottle store attached aswell. Probably one of the cheaper places to drink in town, and it's a classic kiwi pub from yesteryear for better or worse.
