Friendly wait staff and not long to wait for food and coffee. Good portion size to cost which was great, and they have almond and soy milk. Couple of vegan options, which was amazing and tasty too! Was a bit breezy being in a wind funnel but they had cute blankets outside ready for us! A lovely peaceful spot. Would definitely go again

A great little cafe in central position, outside seating on a balcony overlooking local river and walkway, very relaxing. Very good coffee, we went there twice during our visit and a good selection of pastries and savouries.they also appeared to have better opening hours than other cafes in the town

Love the food and most importantly the amazing team that work at the Oaks. I visit here with my parents and it always makes me smile when they walk in and all the team say hello and know their usual menu order! Special shout out to Clare who makes the best coconut DF hot chocolates.

Met the owners by chance during the Ww Markets they are establishing every Sunday in the Courtyard. Cosy Cafe with indoor/outdoor dining, very busy. Knew the coffee would be good as it's CB owned as a standalone business. The iced coffee was totally worth it. The menu is well thought out and varied. Seating COULD be an issue as their reputation grows. The Cafe is fairly small. Toilets not noted. Wheelchair access not a problem, child friendly. Young business that will do well. Will be going back.

Best coffee in the whole matakana area. Hidden away under the retirement complex and behind the refurbed hotel restaurant. Fantastic, friendly staff who go the extra mile to be cheerful, professional and fast.
