Very friendly staff
Nice cosy place to enjoy a cold brew
Nice ambience
I enjoyed the lager type beer
We only stay around the corner but the locals think we’re from out of town

The mother of all microbreweries- these guys got the ball rolling with the microbrewery trend sweeping Wellington at the mo. Excellent beers- they certainly do not stop short on pulling the punches on flavor! Strong hoppyness, or sharp tartiness, even spicy! Daring and bold, one of their stouts feature oysters. Another pilsener features coriander and habanero chili flakes, and the real habanero as well! This will sound clichéd, but these guys dare to go where no man has gone before.

A good place to have beer when in Wellington. I liked the variety in flavours. Might be a bit conjusted spacewise but definitely worth trying

Been here few times and always loved the friendly vibe. It was another busy Sunday filled with happy people. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to showcase individual beer selections. We also ordered some food and they all turned out to be nice. I particularly liked the cheese melt sandwich.

Popped by as it's just a quick walk from my hotel, after this having been on my list to visit since before my previous trip several years back. The beer (malt lager) was, of course, delicious. While the food menu is limited, the soy mushroom and mozzarella toastie with sriracha was absolutely delicious, so was the baked french cheese (though I reckon it would've been better with the crackers rather than the bread).

One of the better taprooms I've been too, both in Australia and nz. Super simple, yet effective atmosphere. Very, very nice beers combined with some of the nicer bartenders I've ever had the joy of experiencing. They know their stuff, and were friendly enough to help a solo drinker through. Would highly recommend to anybody!

Long time fan of the wonderful and quirky brews of Garage Project. Visiting this place only confirmed why I love their beers! Staff (Aaron) was a fantastic and knowledgeable host and provided heaps of info about the beers and special releases. Great place for a selection of the finest craft beers in Welly.

This is a great place to grab a beer with some yummy snacks. They have non-alcoholic beers, too, and good ones. 👍

Good neighborhood bar; looked like lots of regulars come here with friends greeting friends. Good beer, though not the best hazy IPAs I’ve had in NZ. The NZ cheese board has excellent aged cheddar, blue cheese, and Honey Ciabatta, but the beetroot relish tasted very odd, even though I love beets. Know this place is all about drinking, not dinner and drinks. The food menu is very limited with mainly snacks.

Visiting from Melbourne, we literally came here first stop from the airport as we love GP beers! I was stoked with the range and selection. It’s a great vibrant little tap room full of life. I ordered a ham and cheese toastie as was pleasantly surprised to find a couple of pickles hidden in it along with a side of dill pickle chips. Everything I wanted it to be.

Best range of beers I've tried in the southern hemisphere. Whether you like the "normal " beer , something a little adventurous or something unique, then this is the place to go. This place has an awesome atmosphere, great music and a really happy team of beer experts ready to assist on your beer journey . I can't recommend highly enough. Thank you Dan for a great evening.

Supporting local crafts. Love the flight. Wine are served at less volume but still well enjoyed. Keep up the good work team

This place is awesome! Beer selection is mega, there's a ton of stuff they make and brew right nearby in the cellar and the selection is great. You'll be able to find a beer that anyone in your group likes, lagers, IPA, stout, lambics. Theyre all very good quality too, you can even get some in the shops! Food also pretty nice, we had the miso white bean dip and really enjoyed it as a snack. You can try various beers in a flight if you want to find a new favourite. For craft beers, fully recommend this place!
