First place I always go to when I visit Wellington! I wish more fast food was vegan Got to try the special: Philly cheesesteak with beyond burger. Essentially a hot dog bun with cut up patty and onions, very nice! Never tried something like this before, glad that there’s a vegan version :) Mac and cheese bites are always great Oreo shake is great, cause it’s not too sweet or too large Great as always, not sure why all the negative reviews, I love this place 👍

Amazing Vegan junk food 😆 Service is always friendly too. Recommend the mac & cheese balls and burger with "The Lot" 🍔 🤤

its my first time visit at lords of the fries its quite good experience i really appreciate the service and the food too, there is sweet girl her name is raj , she expalin everything in very good way really appreciate overall its really good food atmosphere and really like the vegan food so thumps up 👍🏻

Me and my sister in-law went here on a first date and it did not dissapoint! Definitely loved the vibe, the music was eclectic in all the right ways. Initially it started with "my love, mine all mine", it then smoothly transitioned into the freshest lil Wayne track, then back to Lana Del Rey. The atmosphere was juicy and the fries were golden, can't ask for more eh brother!

Nice place to have snacking of fries and mac and cheese. They also have burgers and etc as an option. Soooo yummy.... Fair price and normal portion. Located at Cuba Street with the city live environment. Visited there when travelled to Wellington. Will be back next time to try other menus.

Popped in for a quick lunch with my wife. Got a couple of burgers and a sample box of some of the other offerings. Friendly staff, and nice food and flavours, but all the food was very very salty on the day unfortunately. Hopefully not the norm and we just caught it on a bad day.

So many bad reviews here but LOTF will always be one of my favourite places to eat in! Ethical company with delicious flavours what more could anyone want

Went to Lord of the Fries last Saturday and can hands down say that the deputy manager Harry is one of the nicest people in Wellington. This is someone who cares about people (both his staff and customers) and goes up and beyond to be a really decent human being. We went there for a meal with a friend who doesn't go out much and he kind of made it his mission that she give her a really lovely meal and good time. Really affable, lovely place with nice staff. Highly recommended it/a place that cares about what they're doing /5 stars <3

my friend thought the chicken burger was real chicken. so delicious, the onion rings and hsp are the best!

Highly recommend. Finally a place that does junk food for vegetarians and vegans!   Good food, good service. The only drawbacks are that it is pretty expensive and the place could use a bit of a polish up

Having been here more times than I care to admit since its opening, I've sampled a decent amount of the menu. Standouts for me are definitely the classic burger upgraded with a beyond meat patty, (it tastes so much like the real thing it's almost uncanny) and the chickn and chips snack pack. A great option for veggies and vegans in the CBD.

Another welcomed Aussie franchise to the Welly scene. I've visited the ones in Aucks several times.<br/><br/>Good selection of vegan options, from the burgers to the sweet kumara fries.<br/><br/>The local beer, Fortune Favours is also on tap - but had licensing issues last week, hopefully these are addressed.

I’m never disappointed at lord of the fries, having had it in Auckland and Melbourne before: I love the variety of options and it’s always a generous serving!

For a place that has a name like lord of the fries, to only have chunky in stock is pretty bad. Bad is how you would describe the nuggets, these tasted horrific, like old gamey poultry, very pungent to the nose also. Ironic is the name also as the swarm of flies circling the centre of the restaurant formed a small dark hurricane.

The first time I ate here, I think it was their first day open. I had a cheeseburger with shoestring fries. Neither was great. The fries were not crispy or salty and they did not resemble the picture on the menu at all. They were actually kind of burned so I was pretty disappointed. How do you burn fries and still not get them crispy? Somehow, they managed it. The burger was ok, but I can make a way better burger at home. The vegan burger at BurgerFuel is far superior to this one.<br/>My second visit was a few days later. I had the fried chicken with chips and upgraded to sweet potato fries. Not bad, but not a standout either. The texture of the chicken was realistic, but the batter didn't have a lot of flavor besides just being salty. I also had the bacon and egg breakfast sandwich. This was terrible. They put on so much mustard, it basically tasted like a mustard sandwich. I couldn’t taste any of the bacon, egg or cheese. Why does this sandwich even have mustard on it anyway? I like mustard, but not with bacon or egg. Got an order of onion rings, too. They were tasty, crispy & flavorful, just the way onion rings should be. Only thing is, they were super greasy. <br/>On my third (and perhaps final) visit, I had the chicken nuggets & chips. The nuggets were really dry and over-fried. No sauce could rescue these. I upgraded to sweet potato fries and they weren't as good as the last time, so consistency is a problem. I also ordered an Oreo shake. This arrived at the table watery and not frozen at all. Oreos were undetectable. Tasted more like chocolate milk with the same consistency. Complete disappointment. :(<br/>LOTF definitely needs to improve their food and the first place they can start is with their fries. I mean really, it's in their name, after all.
