Consistently good. From the initial greeting to the delightful service to the delicious food made in house, to the range of drinks including good zero options. There has also been a lot of thought given to how this classy urban establishment presents its appealing menu options. The branding is on point but subtle and it remains a favourite local anytime of day.

Came for the WOAP burger not realising my work colleague was keto. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate him, suggesting alternatives and even adjusting these (removing a vinaigrette which had sugar in it) to suit his diet. He still missed out on the burger, but that’s his own fault! Thanks Astoria for a very pleasant dining experience.

My first coffee in Wellington after 6 years and it was really good. Probably the best I had the whole time I was there and was pleasantly surprised to see that double shot of espresso was standard, even in a small coffee. Staff are friendly and the location was great. Right on the Midland Park and it was a beautiful day. Like they say can't beat Wellington on a good day and this was one of those.

Have been here several times since it reopened. At one point we visited two days in a row. The food is exceptional, as is the service. I usually shy away from having pizza in a restaurant, but Astoria's pizzas are absolutely 'out of this world' with interesting flavours and combinations.
More zero beer choices would be good. There's no excuse not to have a local craft zero on the drinks menu. Will definitely return.

Business lunch at Astoria last Thursday & only good things to say, especially with the lamb pappardelle & flat bread to sop it up with, delicious. Paired nicely with the Lake Hayes Pinot Noir. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the service was great right down to the staff wiping the table of the bits of bread crumbs before serving coffees & deserts…good eye from the staff.

Back in October we visited Astoria as a party of 5 girls from Christchurch. David and Steve were exceptional hosts and took great care with us to choose our drinks and meals, although I highly doubt any selection would’ve been a disappointment. I ordered the spritziatta cocktail and it was so delicious that I had 3 by the end of the night…🙈 The girls ordered various cocktails that were just as delicious! I must applaud the energy that David and Steve brought. They had us girls giggling all night and really made us feel so welcome. The food was impeccable and the service was the maraschino in the Prosecco 🍒🥂
I will most definitely return to Wellington solely to dine at Astoria. Thank you David, Steve and the Astoria team ❤️

After having been closed for renovation, this restaurant now offers a pleasant and, in my opinion, quite Californian atmosphere. But the renovation, which added a nice interior design, also reached the dishes they offer, which stand out among their peers in the city. I tried the Pizzeta de Quatro Fromage, and it was really delicious. The Tiramisu, the best I've had in Wellington. A new place with a small selection of dishes, but of great quality and flavour. If you're in Lambton Quay, don't miss this restaurant.

4.5 stars the vege pizza with mint and lemon was incredible. Oysters 👌Wine selection on menu was short but had everything it needed. There are wine fridges displayed so I’m sure there more than menu available if required.
