Finished the Whakamaru section of the Waikato River Trails and stopped here for lunch before heading back. What a great choice! Food is reasonable priced and delicious! Service is great, bathrooms are clean and tidy. It had everything we needed. I had the chicken burger and our friends had the chicken schnitzel.

A great spot to stop for lunch. Beautiful warm wooden interior with a good range of menu food available. Bathroom is clean and tidy as is the restaurant. Ample seating and good music playing.
Coffee was OK.
Food was great, we had an eggs Benedict with salmon, a Turkish sandwich and a side of fries.
I fully recommend visiting this place.

Now called Russmans. Nice place friendly staff yummy food. Good value, nice hard wood interior well looked after and clean. Good coffee, vegetarian options. Free fast wifi. Recommended.

Super friendly service, and they got us our meals fairly quick. I got the BBQ chicken pizza and my wife got the burger. The ciabatta bread was awesome and the pizza was one of the best I’ve had in New Zealand.
Building was nice and clean and they have free WiFi! Would definitely come back.

Really tasty gourmet sandwiches, good portions and value. Even during a pandemic lull in business, and my partner and I being the only customers inside at the time, the food was all fresh and the service was friendly. Would definitely stop in every time when passing through.

I 100% recommend eating here, last night I had a chicken salad (may I say it was the best chicken salad I’ve ever had) all fresh food chicken cooked perfectly, friend had a sea food chowder and he said it was perfect. Cute little lake style place really awesome! Keep up the amazing work
