I honestly don’t know how this place isn’t packed out ALL THE TIME. The food was presented so beautifully and it tasted amazing. We had entrees, mains and dessert and everything was 10/10! I will definitely be back and recommending this place to all my friends 😊
Had a girls night here for dinner and we were very well looked after , everything was perfect . Drink prices were reasonable, a big Thankyou toothe chefs and kind , attentive staff , who even took our photo while being busy . First time of coming here and I will definitely be back ! As a local it’s hard to find good quality for your money but this place has it all .

Amazing food.
The food here is amazing, the drinks are amazing and the people are amazing.
The man, who I think is the owner, is lovely and very nice.
I do think the drinks I had, non alcoholic beverages, were too sweet. However, they were still amazingly lovely. I had the fish and chip meal, the fish batter was crispy and soft which was amazing. I think adding tomato sauce and an extra lemon slice would make the meal better.
The two people who I came with had pork belly and steak, they gave good feed back and said their meals were lovely also.
My only negative comment is about the bathroom, I think it needs to be cleaned more often, such as the floors. The baby changing table is cloth, I think they should change this to plastic.
Overall, lovely experience and lovely food. Definitely recommend to anyone wondering if this place is good.
Food was tasty and fresh. Our vegetables were nice and crunchy. The meal size was spot on. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The music playlist was relaxing and not too loud.
Only feedback, there was a spot light directly over our head, was bright and the staff couldn't dim it.

We had battered prawns and scallops for entree, the baked salmon, the angus eye fillet wrapped in bacon, and it all tasted amazing! I usually eat desert but I was so full I couldn't eat any more. A nice high end restaurant with great service. All the staff were friendly and helpful, even our toddler was well taken care of with her food and drink, and colouring in menu. We definitely recommend for great food and great service
Went for our Valentines 💝 Dinner here tonight and.. I give them a 5 all round. Welcoming was great, with great communication to match as there was a change in the menu due to the weather. Hospitality👌🏼 oon point! Always made sure we we're happy with the meals and we ordered stuff off the menu as well and they delivered 100%. Everything the food was so good and cocktails Yum! my partner was impressed! That doesn't happen often so thats saying something.

Superb. Honestly, Roquette cooked the best meal I can recall having in the Bay of Plenty. The carnivore thought the same of his steak. Perfect fusion of flavours & textures, all served with care. A treat worth having. Save room for desert (yum!).

The service was friendly & welcoming the decor was extremely comfortable (very important to me) and loved the mirrored back wall made it feel like lots of natural light, & could see beautiful outside view of Whakatane river 😀
Deliciously divine food that was amazingly presented, was art on a plate that left my taste buds skipping a beat.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND & look forward to my next visit 😀
