My husband asked the chef if he could make me a really simple sponge cake with jam and cream for my birthday. I love the cheap and cheerful ones from the bakery but we couldn't find one up here. These guys were so great and did exactly what he asked, no fuss at all. It was delicious!! Thank you sooo much!
Nice Cafe in this area - has nice breakfast, cakes (berry custard tart is yum yum) and hot chocolate. Very pleasant staff.
Just be wary of the Chicken waffles (which i thought would be savoury, it was sweet waffles with a chicken patty in between).
We had some amazing platters from the cafe.
Staff extremely friendly and the platters were made up with the selection that we had asked for earlier.
Cannot wait to return again on our Annual trip.

Meat pie average service ok .very quiet and it's self service from the cabinet. Coffee good.
My wife and I go here regularly for our coffee fix, and have yet to receive a bad coffee, it is consistently amazing! We also have our Saturday breakfasts here usually, and the quality of the food has been great, and is only surpassed by the friendliness of the staff. Our experience has definitely earned your business 2 ongoing regular customers!
If you are in Ruakaka Two Birds Cafe is a must. Perfect for meet ups. Stunning food, and fabulous service.

Food - great, tasty, well made.
Big breakfast is great, Kid loved the simple Banana smoothie, wife loved the Pancakes Bacon & Maple syrup.
Coffee ... damn good !!

Great inside outside seating, cool temps on hot days.
Kid got given some Lego to mess with - distraction👍 & thoughtful - better than those damn colouring sheets.
