Hubby and I enjoyed our devine meal and mocktail drinks. Amazing staff, service, and food. We were able to enjoy the music and hold a conversation. Inviting space. Compliments to the chef's and front of house staff. Highly recommended and will come back for a meal next time we are in Whangarei.

After visiting the Hundertwasser Museum, stopped at Loco for a rather late lunch just as they opened. The staff were wonderfully friendly; had a nice drink selection; great food; and an excellent Chili sauce selection (so many to choose from!).
Ollie was a wonderful host; highly recommend for relaxed drinks and eats.
Had a fantastic family Sunday lunch here at Loco with our dog. Gemma and her crew provided great service even for our dog. The food was awesome,delicious,and delivered quickly. The nachos had the fillings layered so every chip was used. So good A+++ recommended
We went to this place because it was the busiest place in town, so we knew it had to be busy for a reason. Great atmosphere and plentiful menu. We loved our meals (vegetarian), got them promptly, and they were decently sized. We found out later they were understaffed, but you wouldn't have known. Great value for money, faultless service ALL of the staff were great, highly recommend!
This is out favourite place to stop for a cocktail. Situated at the Town Basin, Loco has a great vibe, an awesome outlook onto the harbour, and such a fun atmosphere. It's small but mighty, with great food. The cocktails are fabulous, and the team are all fabulous. Highly recommended!

Fabulous restaurant. Our server Ollie was the nicest guy who made sure we were comfortable with hot water bottles, blankets and heaters. The food was incredible and definitely worth coming again to. Best tacos and ribs ever. Try the slushy margarita. Perfect place to spend time.
Wonderful surprise, fun and friendly vibe and staff. Fantastic Vegan options-we had the eggplant nachos and pumpkin quesadilla. Would highly recommend. Extensive range of hot sauces.
