Awesome venue. Crispy Squid was lovely . I felt the Clam Chowder lacked taste. Would love to see a Tide signature chowder made in-house using all the seafood available.

A fantastic intimate restaurant with a stunning outlook over the water. The food was gorgeous with a menu boasting fresh seafood as well as classic options with a twist. 10/10 coffee too. We found the price to be surprisingly reasonable for a fine dining experience.

Reopened the day we visited as the Acropolis restaurant. Beautiful location. Plenty of free parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Traditional Greek food. Yummy! Gave only two stars for atmosphere as the place was empty when we were there. We just missed the lunchtime rush. Good selection of drinks.

Went to Tide by chance - we were passing by and saw the sign. More than enough parking. Clean entrance and restaurant. Staff pleasant and polite. Water immediately placed on the table and menu handed to us. Good menu and prices on par with everywhere else in Whangarei. Beautiful, calming view of Onerahi and water. Highly recommended.

The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly, the food was absolutely amazing and reasonably priced, i will definately be back when im in whangarei next and will be recomending tide to friends and family. Bacon benny with scallops.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable meal, sitting at an outside table at Tide. I had tarakihi fish & chips with slaw. My husband had a 180gm beef patty burger with chips. Coffee was great. Garlic bread was delicious and cooked to our specification. Couldn't fault the meal or the helpful staff.
