Delicious food! We had the seafood chowder and the chilli eggs, they were wonderful!

Of days before we left the area and ate a few times here. Best breakfast in the area, great coffee and down get me started on the incredible sandwich and cake cabinet! Fabulous home cooked food that trumps all others.
Porridge and bacon and egg roll were great as was the date

During our short stay in Whitianga I thankfully found the French Fig on day one and it became a daily ritual to return for coffee. Friendly staff deliver a delicious range of food, either from the cabinet or the kitchen. I’m partial to a date scone so their enormous offerings hit the spot (twice, as I had to consume it over two days). The lemon syrup cake is perfect to match a strong coffee. And the toasted sandwich had exactly the prerequisite amount of nice oozy cheese.
Great service, delicious food how does it get better than this! Stopped for the best coffee we have had on our trip so far and went back for a delectable eggs Benny with rosti this morning, just wish we had longer to sample more.
Excellent value for money and the presentation was beautiful.
Nice café with some different choices of cakes and savory options. Coffee is double shot standard and very nice. Regular cappuccino $5 was really good. Also ordered a small lemon cheesecake which was yummy. Creamy and fresh. Friendly lady at the counter. Indoor and outdoor tables. Well located. Recommended!
We had the B.L.A.T and the French Toast, it was amazing! So unique and delicious. It was perfect on a rainy day, this cute little quirky cafe with knick knacks to buy and awesome food that fills your stomach! Cannot rave about this place enough, soooooo good. They did something special with the French toast it was just something else. Absolutely delicious coffee + the best french toast you'll ever have. We've been wanting to visit each time we come to Whiti but it always looks so busy, glad we finally got to try the place on Monday and YUM! Nice layout, plenty of tables and gorgeous items through the giftware. Service was top notch and food arrived quickly. Thanks team
Typical french flavour. Descent and clean. Little pricy but it is okay price for tourist place. Dont recommend rocky Road. Pastry is better than cabinet.
