Staff was so amazing we went for breaky & they remembered us when we went back the next day. Food is amazing. Settled in a nice corner of the town. Will surly eat there again.
Can highly recommend Mat's Cafe. Food is reasonably price. Didn't have to wait long for the cooked breakfast to arrive. It was hot and fresh with perfectly poached eggs. My husband had the Half Monty which is the smaller sized full English and it was enough for him. Great idea for us pensioners. Lov

Small cafe in center of Whitianga. Very pleasant staff who know all their regulars by name. Nice coffees and freshly baked treats. Free parking close by and easy access into the shop.
