Staff was so amazing we went for breaky & they remembered us when we went back the next day. Food is amazing. Settled in a nice corner of the town. Will surly eat there again.

Can highly recommend Mat's Cafe. Food is reasonably price. Didn't have to wait long for the cooked breakfast to arrive. It was hot and fresh with perfectly poached eggs. My husband had the Half Monty which is the smaller sized full English and it was enough for him. Great idea for us pensioners. Lovely friendly staff and great coffee. Big thumbs up Mat 👍

Called in for brunch and enjoyed Eggs Benedict plus some lovely coffee. Great service and the staff were super friendly. Mat's is fresh and clean with good seating inside and out

Nice clean and spacious cafe. I only stopped in for coffee and cake, but this place seems like a great spot for a meal. Service was good plus the staff were efficient and welcoming

Had the eggs benedict with bacon. Couldn't fault it at all. Alfresco seating was nice too. Good staff and very clean.

Small cafe in center of Whitianga. Very pleasant staff who know all their regulars by name. Nice coffees and freshly baked treats. Free parking close by and easy access into the shop.

Just what the doctor ordered this morning!! Got the big eggs benny and got bacon and mushrooms. Great price, great coffee, friendly staff. Would 10/10 recommend for your breakfast fix ❤
