What a super half way stop. Tidy, neat, friendly service. Brekkie was delicious, toasted sandwiches tasty, coffee always good and...chocolate eclairs win hands down every time! 👏. Nice to see you Leigh-ann.

A busy place to stop at. The staff were pleasant, busy serving a constant number of customers queued up to be served. This in my opinion, resulted in tables not being cleared in a timely manner for the next customer(s) to be seated at a clean table.
Seasonal decorations are always appropriate but, shouldn't overpower the display of Food for sale (tinsel etc) draped around food cabinets.
More than a cafe, fine dining in a wonderful friendly atmosphere. We stopped in for a evening meal & wow, the food was better than some restaurants I've dined at. My only little niggle was that there was 1 mushroom short. 1 was great but 2 would have been divine to have with my beautifully cooked fillet mignon. Salad was crispy & fresh with lots of variety & a tasty light dressing. A meal where u just want to lick the plate when you're done😊 have since stopped in again for a lunch meal & OMG this place is a must stop. Coffee is so good & the lunch menu is fabulous. I highly rate this cafe
Fantastic cafe. Clean and tidy and very welcoming. Staff were excellent. Food was amazing and very well priced. Has a bathroom which was very clean. Thank you so much for an amazing breakfast. Will definitely come again!
I got a breakfast croissant and a small coffee. The coffee was small for the price but tasted good. The crossiant was good , only small thing was most of filling was in one half. The staff were the stand out. I left my beanie behind and when I rung on arrival at Te Awanga the lovely Matt offered to drop it off at my friends. I called in to collect it from the cafe on my way home and the lady phoned Matt , who was off sick, to find out where it was. This was definitely above and beyond.
Great breakfast... Eggs Benedict was amazing as well as the seafood chowder.
There are also some great quick reads while you're sitting there along with a few novels for those taking their time 😏
The bathrooms aren't the best setup being back of the restaurant past the kitchen and storage room, but that's quite minor.
Good Food and Atmosphere. Service was pleasant, food was plated well and tastes good. Great indoor and outdoor seating options. The Hulahoop and Ride on Toy was a bonus for my toddlers who thoroughly enjoyed playing outside while having their smoothies.

Served by a bright and chirpy young man, who promised me it would be the best coffee I would taste! And it was the best coffee of the day.

I had the sea food chowder- 😋 chock full of an impressive amount of seafood.
Ann had the soup of the day and thoroughly enjoyed it.
