"Ma Maison" in Akaroa has many delightful culinary offerings. The impeccable service and the delectable French-inspired dishes are second to none and a gastronomic pleasure.
The atmosphere and stunning views add an extra layer of enchantment to the dining experience making it a must-visit gem in the local culinary scene.
However we we're seated in the covered conservatory area and the lack of blinds on the sides made it very uncomfortable as the sun set on the western side at which we we're seated.
The dessert also took quite a while to be prepared compared to our entrée and mains.
Lovely food here today for lunch. Our second visit and still a wonderful experience. Hope we can get back to Akaroa again soon.
I can say it was perfect brunch for us.
We didn't planned which restaurant we would go.
During walk, we heard noisy sound due to their exterior upgrade, and I thought the name was lovely.
(Ma maison means my house in French.)
The big boat which is having on the ceiling was interesting, and the staffs were very kind and caring.
The food choice was great luckily.
We had seared scallops, some mushroom with sour dough, and with extra some side menu.
The scallops were fresh and cooked perfectly, and it melted in my mouth.
The mushrooms food was tasty, but personal it could be much better with some meats such as bacon to add a bit of saltiness.
If I visit Akaroa again, I will definitely choose the scallops again.
